  • As a Sales Director for Managed Services at livingHR, you will be at the forefront of driving growth for our innovative HR solutions, specifically focusing on retainer-based managed services for companies under 500 employees.
  • This pivotal role involves owning the entire sales cycle, from initial prospecting and in-depth discovery to crafting compelling proposals and expertly closing deals. You will be instrumental in building and nurturing a robust pipeline of prospective clients who are seeking comprehensive, ongoing HR support.
  • Your primary objective will be to connect with founders, CEOs, CFOs, COOs, and HR leaders within target organizations, understanding their unique challenges and demonstrating how livingHR's human-centric, future-of-work-ready services can provide tangible value.
  • You will actively engage in prospecting activities, leveraging a variety of channels to identify and connect with potential clients. This includes attending and hosting industry events, networking with strategic partners such as HR tech vendors, benefits brokers, and fractional CFO/COO networks to cultivate warm referrals and build a strong referral ecosystem.
  • Collaboration is key in this role. You will work closely with the Marketing team to co-create impactful campaigns that generate both inbound and outbound leads, ensuring a consistent flow of qualified opportunities. Furthermore, you will partner with Delivery Leaders to meticulously structure thoughtful, strategic service packages and scopes of work that precisely align with client needs and objectives.
  • A significant aspect of your role will be educating prospects on the intricacies of our fractional and managed HR services. This includes explaining the value proposition and operational details of services such as onboarding, employee relations, compliance, compensation strategies, payroll support, HRIS implementation, workflow optimization, and culture program development.
  • You will lead consultative discovery calls, employing active listening and diagnostic skills to deeply understand client HR gaps, pain points, and operational inefficiencies. This understanding will enable you to translate client needs into structured retainer agreements, typically ranging from 20 to 160 hours per month, tailored to the client's size, complexity, and growth stage.
  • Post-sale, your responsibility extends to managing high-value client accounts, ensuring exceptional client satisfaction and proactively identifying opportunities for account growth. This includes upselling and cross-selling additional support services such as special projects, Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging (DEIB) initiatives, change management programs, and talent acquisition support.
  • You will act as a thought leader and a professional representative of livingHR, sharing insights on HR operations, compliance, culture, and People strategy within your network and at industry events. Your expertise will help elevate livingHR's brand and market presence.
  • You will contribute to the development of accurate pricing models for retainer-based engagements by collaborating with the Finance and Operations teams. Your market insights on the evolving needs and challenges faced by small to mid-sized organizations in the HR landscape will be invaluable for shaping our service offerings and marketing messaging.
  • This role demands a self-starter with an entrepreneurial mindset, capable of owning and strategically building out a market. You will be expected to manage your pipeline effectively, maintain strong ethical standards, and ensure confidentiality in all professional interactions.
  • By understanding real HR challenges and presenting practical, scalable solutions, you will build trust with executive buyers and HR leaders, positioning livingHR as a trusted partner in their journey to make work better.
  • You will leverage your deep understanding of the HR lifecycle and People Operations functions to articulate the benefits of our managed services, ensuring clients receive tailored support that addresses their specific requirements and contributes to their organizational success.
  • Your ability to translate complex HR needs into clear, actionable service packages will be crucial for client acquisition and retention, driving sustainable revenue growth for the company.
  • You will be a key player in shaping the future of HR services delivery at livingHR, contributing to a culture of impact and humanity while embracing a remote-first, flexible work environment.
