- • Lead a team of sales professionals focused on achieving predictable and profitable sales targets within the SMB market.
- • Execute the company’s sales plan by assigning clients, territories, and sales goals to direct reports and ensuring consistent attainment of objectives.
- • Plan and direct nationwide sales activities across the United States to meet staffing and operational requirements.
- • Proactively drive the creation and expansion of the sales pipeline through strategic initiatives and market outreach.
- • Define and implement sales strategies and tactics to increase new merchant acquisitions and generate add-on revenue.
- • Supervise, develop, motivate, and mentor a field sales organization of at least 50 sales professionals.
- • Build and maintain strong relationships with referral partners to ensure consistent high-volume lead flow and positive partnership experiences.
- • Administer compensation plans for sales staff, ensuring alignment with performance metrics and company policies.
- • Assess sales team performance regularly and execute targeted action plans to improve underperforming areas.
- • Actively manage the full sales lifecycle, including lead generation, opportunity nurturing, deal closure, and merchant activation.
- • Provide guidance and remove obstacles for high-value sales opportunities to ensure successful outcomes.
- • Produce and analyze key management reports including sales forecasts, pipeline health, and sales productivity metrics.
- • Ensure accurate and consistent usage of Salesforce.com for all sales data entry and reporting.
- • Deliver thought leadership on market trends, industry insights, and competitive dynamics affecting the SMB merchant acquiring space.
- • Travel 50% or more across the United States to support field teams, client meetings, and regional sales initiatives.
- • Maintain compliance with all company policies and legal requirements regarding employment, data accuracy, and sales practices.
🎯 Requirements
- • Minimum 12 years of sales and sales management experience
- • Experience selling merchant acquiring solutions to the SMB market
- • Experience managing a successful sales team selling direct to SMB merchants
- • Proven track record of consistently exceeding sales targets
- • Demonstrated success leading field sales organizations of at least 50 sales professionals
- • Ability to travel 50%+ across the United States

- • Salary range of $78,500.00 - $167,100.00 (varies by state)
