  • • Support pre-sales technical engagements with customers and partners by answering complex technical questions during evaluations, procurement, and integration discussions.
  • • Translate customer requirements into clear technical recommendations and tailored solutions based on Swarmer AI’s autonomous drone software and hardware systems.
  • • Develop technical materials including proposals, grant applications, customer documentation, and partner communications that accurately represent product capabilities and limitations.
  • • Work closely with engineering and product teams to ensure accurate representation of technical features, constraints, and use cases to external stakeholders.
  • • Assist with hardware setup, integration, and field support for drone systems, including PCB hardware and embedded devices in real-world operational environments.
  • • Represent Swarmer AI in customer meetings, industry events, and technical discussions, acting as the primary technical liaison between the company and its clients.
  • • Communicate complex technical concepts—such as embedded systems, autonomous coordination, and RF telemetry—to both technical and non-technical audiences with clarity and precision.
  • • Contribute to technical documentation and responses for enterprise, defense, and government procurement processes, including RFPs and SBIR-style grant applications.
  • • Operate effectively in both lab and field settings, demonstrating a practical, hands-on mindset when deploying or troubleshooting drone systems under operational conditions.
  • • Deliver rapid, actionable technical feedback loops by engaging directly with frontline users in high-stakes environments, ensuring product development aligns with real-world needs.
  • • Navigate fast-paced, low-bureaucracy workflows where solutions are shipped quickly and impact is measured in operational outcomes, not internal metrics.
  • • Maintain deep technical credibility by staying current with advancements in embedded systems, drone autonomy, edge AI, and wireless communications relevant to defense applications.
  • • Collaborate across departments to ensure customer feedback directly informs product roadmap decisions and engineering priorities.
  • • Ensure all customer-facing technical content adheres to security and compliance standards required for defense and government sector engagements.

🎯 Requirements

  • • BS/MS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
  • • 3+ years of experience in a technical pre-sales, solutions engineering, or FAE role
  • • Strong embedded systems background, including firmware/hardware integration
  • • Comfortable working with PCB hardware, embedded devices, and drone systems
  • • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • • Ability to explain complex technical topics clearly and concisely
