📋 Description

• As a Sales Engineer at BrainCo Inc., you will serve as the technical force behind winning new business in the US government space, translating complex agency mission problems into credible AI solutions that drive deal closure.
• You will travel with GTM teams to federal, state, and local government sites to run discovery, build tailored demos and proofs of concept, own the technical narrative through the deal cycle, and partner with Deployed Engineering to ensure sold solutions are successfully shipped and scaled.
• BrainCo Inc. is an applied AI startup backed by a $55M Series A, with a team of 100+ AI experts from Tesla, Google DeepMind, NVIDIA, and Databricks, deploying real-world AI solutions for governments, healthcare systems, and critical industries.
• In this role, you will develop deep expertise in public sector AI sales, shape the government sales engineering playbook, and directly influence product direction by feeding customer insights back into the product team.

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in sales engineering, solutions architecture, forward-deployed engineering, or a similar customer-facing technical role
• Proven experience selling into the US public sector (federal, state, or local) with working knowledge of government procurement, contract vehicles, and security/compliance frameworks (FedRAMP, IL levels, ATO)
• Technical depth to credibly discuss AI/ML systems, APIs, data integration, and government cloud environments with agency engineers and CIOs
• Hands-on ability to build demos, script prototypes, or debug proofs of concept independently
• Strong communication skills to distill complex AI capabilities into clear mission value for government executives and program operators
• Willingness and enthusiasm for extensive travel (~50%) across the US to government partners and BrainCo offices
