  • • Own the full technical sales cycle for federal agencies, translating SpyCloud’s cyber-crime disruption platform into mission-critical outcomes for defense, civilian, and intelligence customers.
  • • Serve as the primary technical advisor to federal prospects and existing clients, demonstrating how SpyCloud’s 4-billion-record breach dataset and automated remediation capabilities reduce risk, satisfy FISMA/NIST controls, and accelerate zero-trust initiatives.
  • • Architect tailored proof-of-value engagements that map stolen credential exposures, malware-infected assets, and dark-web intelligence to each agency’s unique attack surface, compliance mandates, and operational tempo.
  • • Deliver white-board sessions, live demos, and red-team-style briefings that resonate with SOC analysts, CISOs, and mission owners alike, translating raw breach data into clear, prioritized actions.
  • • Partner closely with channel partners, system integrators, and OEM alliances to extend SpyCloud’s reach across classified and unclassified networks, ensuring seamless integration with existing SIEM, SOAR, and identity stacks.
  • • Author RFI/RFP responses, technical architecture diagrams, and security control mapping documents that accelerate procurement cycles and satisfy FedRAMP, DoD CC SRG, and IC compliance reviewers.
  • • Provide voice-of-the-customer feedback to Product and Engineering, ensuring federal requirements for encryption, data residency, and cross-domain solutions are baked into the roadmap.
  • • Maintain active TS/SCI clearance and act as a trusted liaison between SpyCloud’s cleared engineering workspace and customer SCIF environments, facilitating secure briefings and classified pilots.
  • • Track and forecast pipeline health in Salesforce, aligning technical milestones with revenue targets and ensuring every opportunity has a clear, measurable path to close.
  • • Mentor junior SEs and new hires on federal sales processes, security frameworks, and clearance-handling best practices, amplifying team expertise and bench strength.
  • • Travel up to 25% for customer site visits, industry days, and classified briefings, while remaining fully productive in a remote-first culture that values outcomes over hours logged.

🎯 Requirements

  • • Active U.S. TS/SCI security clearance (required to enter customer SCIFs and access classified threat briefings).
  • • 5+ years of sales engineering or solutions architecture experience selling cybersecurity solutions to federal agencies.
  • • Deep familiarity with NIST SP 800-53, FISMA, FedRAMP, and DoD CC SRG control families and accreditation processes.
  • • Hands-on expertise integrating SaaS platforms with SIEM, SOAR, and identity providers in on-prem, IL5/IL6, and cloud environments.
  • • Strong verbal and written communication skills, able to translate complex threat intelligence into compelling mission value for both engineers and senior executives.
