- • As a Sales Engineer at Omegga GmbH, you will serve as the trusted technical advisor bridging customers, engineering, product, and commercial teams to drive the global adoption of Omegga’s in-ovo sex detection technology, directly contributing to the elimination of chick culling through scalable, real-world solutions.
- • Your day-to-day responsibilities include leading technical customer interactions such as workshops, demos, proof-of-concepts, onboarding, and implementation; visiting hatcheries to assess infrastructure and workflows; translating customer challenges into technical requirements for engineering and R&D; conducting discovery sessions to identify optimization opportunities; delivering technical presentations and trainings; and supporting the development of documentation, use cases, and whitepapers.
- • Omegga is a mission-driven deep-tech company headquartered in Munich’s Werksviertel, focused on scaling its AI and spectroscopy-based in-ovo sex detection systems to become the global standard in hatcheries, combining technical rigor with ethical impact to transform an industry.
- • In this role, you will develop deep expertise in agricultural technology and industrial systems, strengthen your ability to translate complex technical concepts for diverse stakeholders, influence product direction through customer feedback, and grow into a key driver of international deployment and product evolution while working on a globally relevant sustainability challenge.

About Omegga GmbH
Omegga GmbH is a German biotechnology company that has developed a non‑invasive, in‑ovo sexing technology for poultry eggs. Using Raman spectroscopy, the system can determine the sex of chicken embryos early in incubation, allowing hatcheries to identify and separate male eggs before they develop, thereby eliminating the need for post‑hatch culling of male chicks. The technology aims to improve animal welfare, increase hatchery efficiency, and meet growing regulatory and consumer demands for ethical poultry production. Omegga works with breeders, equipment manufacturers, and poultry producers to integrate its solution into existing incubation lines, and has secured funding from European venture funds and grants to scale its platform globally.
