- • Own the full sales cycle from first touch to closed-won for Shakepay’s B2B and high-net-worth channels, driving net-new revenue that directly accelerates Canada’s transition to a Bitcoin-first economy.
- • Build and manage a robust pipeline of prospective partners—crypto-curious family offices, forward-thinking RIAs, fintechs, and neobanks—using a consultative, challenger-sales approach that positions Shakepay as the safest, simplest on-ramp to Bitcoin.
- • Run discovery calls that uncover pain points around custody, compliance, and user experience; translate those insights into tailored proposals that map Shakepay’s regulatory clarity, cold-storage architecture, and instant CAD rails to each prospect’s strategic goals.
- • Collaborate daily with Product, Compliance, and Engineering to scope custom integrations, white-label APIs, and co-branded card programs, ensuring every deal is technically feasible and compliant with FINTRAC and provincial securities rules.
- • Model revenue impact and present weekly forecasts to the VP of Growth; iterate pricing, packaging, and incentive structures based on win/loss data and shifting market dynamics.
- • Design and execute outbound sequences (email, LinkedIn, warm referrals, industry events) that achieve a 30%+ response rate and convert at least 15% of qualified leads into signed agreements within 90 days.
- • Serve as the voice of the customer inside Shakepay—distilling feedback on custody limits, fee transparency, and UI friction into actionable tickets that improve conversion and retention across all segments.
- • Host quarterly business reviews with strategic partners, surfacing upsell opportunities (OTC desks, institutional yield products, payroll-to-Bitcoin rails) that compound annual contract value.
- • Represent Shakepay at Canadian fintech meetups, Bitcoin conferences, and regulatory roundtables, evangelizing our mission while sourcing warm leads and shaping policy conversations.
- • Maintain meticulous CRM hygiene (HubSpot) so leadership can track cohort performance, CAC, and lifetime value in real time; build dashboards that flag at-risk renewals 60 days before expiry.
- • Mentor junior SDRs by sharing call recordings, objection-handling playbooks, and negotiation frameworks—scaling the sales engine without sacrificing the human touch that Canadians trust.
- • Champion diversity in crypto by partnering with underrepresented-founder accelerators and sponsoring scholarships that bring new voices into the Bitcoin golden age.
🎯 Requirements
- • 3+ years of quota-carrying SaaS or fintech sales experience with a track record of closing six-figure annual contracts.
- • Deep understanding of Canadian regulatory landscape (FINTRAC, CSA, IIROC) as it relates to crypto custody and money-services businesses.
- • Demonstrated ability to run a data-driven sales process in HubSpot or Salesforce, including forecasting, pipeline hygiene, and cohort analysis.
- • Exceptional storytelling skills—can translate complex technical concepts (cold-storage, multisig, Proof-of-Reserves) into clear ROI narratives for CFOs and CTOs.
- • Nice-to-have: existing network of family offices, RIAs, or neobank executives; bilingual fluency in English and French; active participation in the Canadian crypto community.
