- ⢠As a Sales Executive (German Speaker) at Carwow Ltd, you will play a pivotal role in Europeâs leading automotive marketplace, directly contributing to the companyâs mission of transforming how people buy, sell, advertise, and lease cars. With nearly ÂŁ3 billion in vehicle purchases and ÂŁ1.8 billion in sales processed through the platform in 2024, your work will support a rapidly growing, technology-driven business that has expanded its reach through the acquisition of Autovia (AutoExpress and Evo), now serving 10 million YouTube subscribers, 1.2 million magazine readers, and over 350 million annual online users. You will be a key link in the sales chain, ensuring seamless transactions between private sellers and partner dealers, thereby driving customer satisfaction and platform success.
- ⢠Your day-to-day responsibilities will include advising private sellers on how to sell their vehicles effectively via Carwowâs âSell My Carâ platform, proactively connecting them with verified partner dealers to facilitate smooth and trustworthy transactions. You will manage end-to-end communication across multiple channels â including phone, email, and WhatsApp â to guide sellers through each step of the process, from initial inquiry to final handover, ensuring timely responses and minimizing drop-offs. You will actively monitor deal progress, troubleshoot obstacles, and follow up persistently to maximize conversion rates, acting as the critical human touchpoint that turns interest into completed sales. Additionally, you will gather feedback from both sellers and dealers to identify process improvements, contribute to refining sales scripts and best practices, and maintain accurate records in the CRM system to support forecasting and performance tracking.
- ⢠You will join a dynamic, international sales team based in Porto that operates at the forefront of Carwowâs B2C and B2B engagement strategy. The team is deeply embedded in the companyâs scale-up culture, combining automotive expertise with digital sales innovation to deliver exceptional partner and customer experiences. Collaborating closely with Business Development and Account Management, you will help scale the seller acquisition funnel while maintaining high standards of service quality. - ⢠In this role, you will develop advanced consultative selling skills tailored to the automotive sector, gaining deep insight into consumer behavior, market trends, and dealer dynamics. - ⢠Fluency in German (spoken and written) at a professional level, with strong communication skills to engage confidently with private sellers and partner dealers across various channels.
- ⢠Proven experience in sales, preferably within automotive retail, car dealerships, or a comparable B2C/B2B environment, demonstrating ability to build rapport, manage pipelines, and close deals.
- ⢠Genuine passion for the automotive industry, with up-to-date knowledge of market trends, vehicle valuation factors, and evolving consumer preferences in the European auto market.
- ⢠Strong analytical mindset, capable of using data and performance metrics to identify sales opportunities, assess risks, and optimize outreach strategies.
