- • As the first dedicated Sales Lead for Paystack in Kenya, you will establish and own the sales motion across priority sectors such as airlines & travel, education, hospitality, financial services, and FMCG, translating company strategy into actionable priorities and driving full-cycle sales from initial conversation to long-term growth.
- • You will build and maintain a high-quality sales pipeline and forecast, develop deep relationships with senior decision-makers (founders, CFOs, CTOs, CEOs), and partner with Product, Engineering, Risk, Legal, and Support teams to shape solutions and close deals effectively.
- • You will work closely with leadership on strategic opportunities, build scalable sales frameworks and messaging, and represent Paystack at industry events and executive forums with credibility and presence.
- • This role offers the opportunity to shape Paystack’s market position in Kenya during a pivotal growth phase, leveraging your expertise to build repeatable processes, drive predictable revenue, and establish the company as a trusted infrastructure partner across key sectors.
🎯 Requirements
- • 7+ years of experience in enterprise sales, business development, or account management with a proven track record of owning and delivering against revenue targets.
- • Deep roots in the Kenyan market, including an established network that opens doors and a nuanced understanding of how enterprise decisions are made locally.
- • Experience managing complex, multi-stakeholder deals end-to-end, with comfort navigating technical and commercial conversations involving APIs, integrations, and payment implementations.
- • Strong communication and influence skills, enabling clear and persuasive articulation of Paystack’s value to internal and external stakeholders, including founders and C-suite executives.
- • A builder’s mindset with experience in high-growth or early-stage environments, energized by creating structure, shaping playbooks, and establishing how things should work.
