As a Sales Manager, you will be instrumental in driving significant sales growth by penetrating and securing business within our target market, directly contributing to the success of Learning & Development teams worldwide.
  • • You will be responsible for defining and executing a strategic account plan to drive massive revenue growth. This involves navigating complex organizational structures, establishing rapport with executive decision-makers, and aligning internal resources to deliver customized solutions that address critical business needs. Success in this role requires adeptness at negotiating enterprise-level agreements and maintaining momentum throughout lengthy sales cycles.
  • • **Strategic Account Ownership:** Take full ownership of a targeted list of strategic accounts. You will develop and execute comprehensive inbound and outbound strategies to penetrate these accounts, identify key stakeholders, and understand their unique challenges and objectives. This proactive approach will be crucial for building long-term partnerships and driving consistent revenue.
  • • **Full Sales Cycle Management:** You will be accountable for the entire sales process, from initial qualification of leads (post-lead generation) through to negotiation, contract signing, and successful deal closure. This end-to-end responsibility ensures a deep understanding of customer needs and the ability to tailor Cambly's offerings effectively.
  • • **Team Management & Coaching:** Directly manage and coach a team of at least two Sales Development Representatives (SDRs). Your leadership will be vital in ensuring high performance, consistent pipeline contribution, and adherence to outbound metrics. You will foster a collaborative environment, providing guidance and support to help your team members achieve their full potential.
  • • **Revenue Achievement:** Consistently meet and exceed ambitious monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue targets. This role is performance-driven, and your ability to deliver results will be a key measure of success.
  • • **Pipeline Generation:** Proactively cultivate a robust sales pipeline. This will involve expert individual outreach, collaborating effectively with your SDR on targeted campaigns, and efficiently managing qualified inbound prospects. A strong understanding of sales methodologies and a proactive approach to lead generation are essential.
  • • **Relationship & Rapid Closure:** Efficiently build and nurture strong relationships with business owners and key decision-makers, typically Learning and Development managers or department heads within the small business segment. Your ability to drive swift internal buy-in and successfully negotiate and close transactions quickly, while maintaining a high volume of deals, will be critical.
  • • **Business Acumen & Insight:** Possess the rapid instincts necessary to quickly assess a small business's current needs, financial capacity, and decision-maker motivations. You will leverage this insight to position Cambly's solution for an efficient and successful win, demonstrating a deep understanding of the client's business context.
  • • **Data Integrity & Forecasting:** Maintain impeccable data quality within our CRM system. This includes ensuring up-to-date customer information, accurate forecasts, and precise pipeline data. This commitment to data integrity is crucial for optimal business visibility, effective decision-making, and continuous sales process improvement.
  • • **Collaboration & Communication:** Work closely with marketing, customer success, and product teams to ensure a seamless customer experience and to provide valuable market feedback. Your ability to collaborate effectively across departments will be key to driving overall company success.
  • • **Market Penetration:** Develop and execute strategies to penetrate new markets and expand Cambly's presence within the corporate English language learning sector. This involves identifying untapped opportunities and creating compelling value propositions.
  • • **Solution Selling:** Act as a trusted advisor to prospective clients, understanding their challenges and demonstrating how Cambly's platform can provide a scalable and effective solution for their global communication needs.
  • • **Performance Metrics:** Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) related to sales activities, pipeline velocity, conversion rates, and customer acquisition cost to identify areas for improvement and optimize sales strategies.

  • • **Cultural Contribution:** Embrace and contribute to Cambly's employee-first, results-oriented culture, fostering a positive and productive work environment. Your enthusiasm and dedication will be contagious, inspiring both your team and your colleagues.
  • • **Remote Work Excellence:** Thrive in a remote and distributed team environment, demonstrating strong self-discipline, effective communication, and a proactive approach to collaboration.
