- • The Sales Manager role is pivotal as the initial point of contact for prospective customers, playing a crucial role in identifying new business opportunities, cultivating strong relationships, and providing in-depth product knowledge. This position is integral to achieving new booked business quotas through proactive outreach and sophisticated consultative selling techniques. The ideal candidate will possess robust solution-selling capabilities, exceptional relationship-building skills, and a strong collaborative spirit, working seamlessly with Sales, Marketing, Product, and Operations teams to drive pipeline growth and conversion rates.
- • This role is based remotely within Europe, with a specific scope covering Central Europe, including the DACH (Germany, Austria, Switzerland) and BENELUX (Belgium, Netherlands, Luxembourg) regions. The Sales Manager will report directly to the VP of Regional Sales and will not have any direct reports, focusing instead on individual contribution and pipeline development.
- • Key responsibilities include facilitating the acquisition of new customers and actively contributing to revenue growth targets. Adherence to operational Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) such as call volume, meetings scheduled, activities logged, and task completion is essential. A significant part of the role involves following up on Marketing Qualified Leads (MQLs) and effectively qualifying them into Sales Qualified Leads (SQLs) for the senior sales team. You will collaborate closely with senior sales professionals to transition these qualified leads into active sales opportunities, ensuring a smooth handover and maximizing conversion potential.
- • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records within Salesforce (or a similar CRM system) is paramount, along with consistent adoption of CRM best practices to ensure data integrity and effective pipeline management. You will partner with internal stakeholders across various departments, including Marketing, Product, and Operations, to ensure strategic alignment between marketing initiatives and sales execution, creating a cohesive go-to-market strategy. Furthermore, you will contribute to the ongoing improvement of sales processes and lead management strategies, identifying areas for optimization and implementing best practices to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- • The role demands a proactive and organized approach, with a strong sense of initiative and personal leadership. While the ability to function independently is crucial, excelling within a team environment is equally important. You will need to demonstrate excellent relationship-building skills, particularly through phone and virtual communication channels. Articulacy, organization, proactivity, creativity, and meticulous attention to detail are key attributes for success. Strong business acumen, unwavering ethics, and high integrity are fundamental to this position. The role involves significant organizational interlocks, requiring regular interface with sales, marketing, product, and operations teams to ensure seamless collaboration and information flow.
- • Physical demands are minimal, with work being sedentary and performed indoors at a desk, either remotely or in an office. Travel is required but is expected to be less than 20% of the time, primarily for client meetings or team gatherings within the designated sales territory.
