- • As a Sales Manager for the Commercial Mid-Market segment in North America, you will be instrumental in leading a team of Account Executives serving companies with 101-1,000 FTEs. Your primary focus will be driving revenue growth within this crucial market segment. This involves a deep understanding of the segment's key revenue drivers, strategically directing your team's efforts towards high-impact activities, and collaborating closely with the Marketing department to generate and nurture a robust sales pipeline. You will be directly accountable for achieving and exceeding the segment's revenue targets, ensuring that the team operates with maximum efficiency and effectiveness.
- • A core aspect of this role is dedicated to the continuous development and coaching of your sales team. You will identify individual and team-wide areas for improvement, providing consistent, empathetic, and actionable coaching to help each sales representative reach their full potential and advance their careers. This includes fostering a learning environment where reps can hone their sales craft, develop new skills, and overcome challenges. You will also be responsible for making high-caliber hires to build and maintain smaller, high-performing teams that can achieve exceptional results, ensuring that the team is equipped with the talent needed to meet ambitious growth objectives.
- • This role offers a unique opportunity to significantly influence Ashby's go-to-market strategy. Reporting to the Head of Sales, Americas, you will play a key part in shaping how we approach the Mid-Market segment. The Mid-Market segment is particularly exciting due to its blend of high-velocity and high-value deals, an area where Ashby already excels. - • You will develop a strong command of Ashby's product suite and the broader talent acquisition landscape, becoming a trusted advisor to both customers and your team. You will also possess a keen operational mindset, proactively identifying bottlenecks in the sales process and implementing effective solutions to accelerate deal flow. This includes working collaboratively with Revenue Operations to continuously refine processes and optimize the use of sales tools, ensuring a smooth and efficient customer journey from lead to close.
- • The ideal candidate will be comfortable engaging directly in deals to establish executive-level relationships with customers, doing so in a way that empowers and supports the sales team rather than overshadowing them. This collaborative approach ensures that the team learns from these interactions and builds their own executive presence. You will also be a teacher and a coach at heart, passionate about helping reps master their craft and grow their careers. Your ability to quickly diagnose skill or knowledge gaps and provide targeted coaching will be crucial for team development and success.

- • The interview process is designed to allow candidates to showcase their achievements and learning experiences through practical application. You will be provided with specific Ashby data to develop informed perspectives on our business and solutions engineering involvement, with ample opportunities to engage with our team and ask questions throughout the four-round process. This includes an introductory call, an in-depth experience deep dive, a presentation based on provided data, and a final round with cross-functional interviewers.

- • Proven track record of managing a team of Account Executives who have contributed $7M+/yr ARR at a growth-stage SaaS company.
- • Demonstrated success in hiring, onboarding, and developing new sales reps into top performers, with a focus on career growth.
- • Strong coaching and teaching abilities, with a capacity to identify skill gaps and deliver empathetic, improvement-driving feedback.
- • Experience in establishing executive relationships with customers during deals, while empowering the sales team.
- • Operational mindset with experience in identifying bottlenecks and implementing solutions to accelerate deal flow, including collaboration with Revenue Ops.
- • Comfort with becoming a product and industry expert, connecting market needs with solutions, and providing practical advice.
