- • Kit Global Inc. is seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Sales Manager (Player-Coach) to lead our growing sales team. - • In this pivotal player-coach role, you will be instrumental in driving sales success by carrying a personal quota, providing expert coaching to two Account Executives (AEs), and representing Kit at crucial industry events and prospect meetings. Your time will be strategically divided between closing your own high-value opportunities and developing the skills and performance of your AEs. This role requires a blend of individual sales prowess and leadership acumen, making you a vital asset to our sales organization. Travel will be a component of this role, with opportunities to engage at conferences, creator events, and in-person meetings a few times per quarter, allowing for deeper connection and business development.
- • Our clientele comprises influential creators such as Andrew Huberman, James Clear, Tom Brady, Dua Lipa, Morgan Freeman, and Lil Jon, alongside a broad spectrum of authors, course creators, podcasters, and newsletter operators who depend on Kit to manage and scale their businesses. Our Ideal Customer Profile (ICP) is focused on professional creators, particularly nonfiction authors and educators, who are deeply committed to expanding their reach and revenue streams. A significant and growing priority for this position is to accelerate the adoption of Creator Pro, Kit's premium tier. As we continuously enhance our platform with advanced capabilities like sophisticated attribution and cohort reporting, Subscriber Signals, A/B testing, dynamic send times, and premium integrations, you will play a key role in positioning Kit as the indispensable, professional-grade platform for serious creators and driving substantial expansion revenue through Pro upgrades.
- • Reporting directly to Dave Altarescu, Kit's CRO, you will collaborate extensively with cross-functional teams including Marketing, Support, Creator Growth, Ads, Deliverability, Migrations, and Product. Your direct reports will be two skilled Account Executives responsible for the entire sales cycle, from managing product-led inbound leads to nurturing and closing sales-led opportunities. You will be empowered with access to essential tools such as HubSpot, pipeline dashboards, and go-to-market technologies like Gong and Intercom, enabling you to effectively manage your team and drive performance.
- • Your initial weeks will involve a comprehensive onboarding process, deep dives into Kit's product suite, and introductory meetings with team members. You will gain immediate access to our CRM and sales enablement tools, and begin shadowing active deals to understand current sales dynamics. The first month will see you taking ownership of open opportunities, establishing a coaching cadence with your AEs, auditing the existing pipeline to identify strengths and areas for improvement, and pinpointing Creator Pro upgrade opportunities. Within the first six months, you will be expected to consistently meet or exceed your personal sales quota while ensuring your team achieves its targets. You will refine sales processes, develop a robust Creator Pro positioning strategy, and partner with Marketing on event strategies and targeted campaigns. By the end of your first year, your team will be a high-performing unit, consistently exceeding quotas, and you will have contributed significantly to building a scalable pipeline engine. You will also play a role in shaping the future strategy of Kit's sales organization, informed by your direct experience and market insights.
