  • • As a Sales Manager (Suppliers), you will be instrumental in realizing this vision by significantly growing the Saltz catalog. Your core mission is to connect standout food suppliers with the restaurants that need them, acting as the primary driver for expanding our product offerings. This role demands a comprehensive understanding and ownership of the entire supplier lifecycle. You will be responsible for the end-to-end process, from proactively hunting and discovering potential new suppliers in the field to meticulously fit-testing their offerings and managing their final onboarding onto the Saltz platform. You will serve as an expert, ensuring that every product featured on our marketplace not only meets but exceeds the high Saltz standard for quality and reliability.
  • • Your day-to-day responsibilities will be dynamic and impactful. You will proactively research, scout, and initiate contact with a diverse range of potential suppliers and producers, meticulously identifying those who can best enhance the Saltz product catalog. A significant part of your role involves leading these potential partners through the entire sales funnel, from initial cold outreach via phone and email, through detailed analysis of their offerings, skillful negotiation of terms, and finally, their seamless integration onto our platform. You will leverage internally developed, cutting-edge tools to rigorously analyze and test both new leads and your existing portfolio of suppliers. This analysis is critical for ensuring that all partners meet our stringent logistical and quality requirements, guaranteeing a consistently high-quality experience for our chef customers.
  • • Collaboration is key to success at Saltz. You will interface directly with our Marketing and Catalog Management teams to ensure that newly onboarded suppliers are effectively promoted and integrated into our marketplace from day one, maximizing their visibility and impact. You will be responsible for creating comprehensive weekly status reports that not only highlight real-world results and key performance indicators but also provide actionable recommendations for continuous improvement of our sourcing systems and processes. This data-driven approach ensures that we are constantly optimizing our supplier acquisition strategy.
  • • Working within a small, agile, and highly independent team, you will report directly to the Supplier Sales Lead. This structure fosters a culture of autonomy, innovation, and direct impact. You will have the freedom to own your decisions, experiment with new approaches, and contribute directly to the strategic direction of supplier growth. We are seeking driven experts who are comfortable taking initiative and helping us shape our path forward, rather than simply executing predefined tasks. 🎯 Requirements

  • • Proven experience in sourcing, buying, or sales within the food industry (B2B or B2Retail).
  • • Strong understanding of the EU food supply industry, including experience working with suppliers, distributors, and producers.
  • • Excellent relationship-building and negotiation skills, with a track record of turning initial conversations into long-term partnerships.
  • • Proficiency in Polish and English at a C1 level (fluent).
  • • High sense of ownership, demonstrating proactivity, accountability, and a focus on measurable results.
