  • • WeTravel, Inc. is seeking a highly motivated and analytical Sales Operations Business Partner to join our dynamic team in Chicago. This critical role is designed to empower our sales organization, optimize processes, and foster growth by providing essential support to Sales Leaders, Account Executives, and cross-functional teams. As a key individual contributor, you will be instrumental in ensuring the efficiency, effectiveness, and success of our sales operations, acting as a trusted advisor and problem-solver.
  • • In this position, you will be embedded within the sales structure, working closely with one or more Sales Leaders to provide governance, manage processes, and deliver enablement support. Your primary focus will be on helping these leaders effectively manage their teams, ensuring alignment with broader sales strategies and company objectives. You will cultivate strong relationships, gain a deep understanding of the needs of your partnered sales teams, and serve as the central point of contact for operational excellence.
  • • A core aspect of your role will involve maintaining and enhancing the integrity of our sales data. This includes ensuring accuracy and completeness of information within our CRM system (HubSpot), covering Accounts, Contacts, Opportunities, and Leads. You will collaborate closely with the data governance team to uphold data quality standards and champion best practices among the sales team to maintain data accuracy. This commitment to data integrity is foundational to reliable reporting, accurate forecasting, and informed decision-making.
  • • You will be responsible for generating and analyzing both standard and custom reports and dashboards using tools like HubSpot and Tableau. This analytical work will provide actionable insights into sales performance, pipeline health, and forecast accuracy. You will regularly share your perspective and analysis of corporate reports and dashboards against defined Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), translating complex data into clear, concise recommendations for improvement.
  • • Driving pipeline development and management, along with ensuring reliable forecasts, will be a significant part of your responsibilities. You will work proactively with Sales Leaders to identify opportunities, mitigate risks, and ensure the sales pipeline is robust and accurately represented. This includes ensuring the sales team adheres to our defined sales methodology, promoting consistent and effective sales practices across the organization.
  • • You will play a vital role in business reviews, account planning, and forecasting processes by providing guidance, consolidating necessary materials, and offering strategic advice. Your insights will help Sales Leaders prepare for critical discussions and make data-driven decisions.
  • • A key function of this role is to manage the lead flow within HubSpot, ensuring timely and effective follow-up by sales representatives according to defined Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and KPIs. You will monitor lead distribution and provide guidance to optimize conversion rates and maximize sales opportunities.
  • • You will collaborate closely with the Sales Enablement team to support the onboarding of new and existing sales staff. This includes driving participation in and completion of all training certification programs, and escalating any issues related to certification achievement. Your involvement ensures that our sales team is well-equipped with the knowledge and skills needed to succeed.
  • • Furthermore, you will be responsible for the validation of all sales transactions, managing the correction process, and escalating issues as needed. This ensures that our sales processes are efficient and that any discrepancies are resolved promptly and effectively.
  • • Beyond direct sales support, you will represent the sales operations function in cross-functional initiatives and lead projects as required. This involves collaborating with teams across Marketing, Finance, and Product to align processes, system utilization, KPIs, and performance metrics, ensuring a cohesive and integrated approach to achieving business goals.
  • • This role demands a strong aptitude for leveraging CRM platforms to develop creative solutions for business challenges and opportunities. You will be expected to participate in user acceptance testing for new system functionalities, contributing to the continuous improvement of our technology stack.
  • • On a weekly basis, you will be deeply involved in serving as a strategic business partner to Sales leadership, owning leading indicators, forecasting integrity, pipeline health, reporting, and revenue risk visibility. You will work within the broader Commercial Operations team to drive lead-to-cash optimization, translating data into executive-level insights on coverage, productivity, win rates, and capacity planning. Your efforts will focus on identifying and eliminating revenue friction across tools and workflows, ensuring strong CRM adoption, clean data governance, and scalable operating discipline. You will partner cross-functionally to align processes, system utilization, and performance metrics against defined targets, contributing to a seamless customer journey and improved conversion rates.
  • • This position requires a logical thinker with the ability to solve problems by identifying solution options and developing recommendations. You must demonstrate the ability to prioritize workload, drive deliverables, and communicate effectively throughout processes. A talent and desire for creating efficiency through business process improvement are essential, as is the ability to cope with ambiguity, make decisions without having the total picture, and handle risk and uncertainty comfortably. Maintaining composure under pressure and handling stress effectively are also key attributes for success in this role.
  • • This role is primarily in-person, requiring 4 days per week at our Chicago office located at 20 N Wacker Dr, with one remote workday each week. This hybrid model allows for close collaboration while offering flexibility.

🎯 Requirements

  • • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • • 3-5+ years of experience in Sales Operations, Sales Support, or Business Operations, preferably within a SaaS environment.
  • • Proven experience with CRM programs (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce) and data analysis tools (e.g., Tableau).
  • • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and business analysis skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
  • • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders across different departments.

🏖️ Benefits

  • • 100% employer-covered medical, dental, and vision insurance plans for US team members.
  • • Generous unlimited Paid Time Off (PTO) policy.
  • • Opportunity to visit and stay in WeTravel apartments in Amsterdam (HQ) for 2-4 weeks annually.
  • • Employer-sponsored 401(k) plan with a 2% company match.
