- • CloudZero is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Operations Manager to join our dynamic team. In this pivotal role, you will be the linchpin for deal execution, ensuring seamless and compliant processes from the initial opportunity creation all the way through to contract renewal. You will be instrumental in supporting our Commercial and Enterprise sales teams, acting as a senior partner in the Deal Desk, Sales Operations, and Customer Success Operations functions. Your expertise will be crucial in navigating complex scenarios, driving process improvements, and mitigating downstream execution risks, all while contributing to the development of efficient and scalable operating models.
- • As the owner of the Deal Desk for both Commercial and Enterprise segments, you will be the primary point of contact for all pricing, discounting, and non-standard term negotiations. Your responsibility will extend to ensuring that deal execution is not only fast and consistent but also strictly aligned with company policies and approval governance. You will meticulously assess the health of each deal, evaluating its potential downstream impact on critical functions such as Billing, Revenue Recognition, Legal, and Customer Success. This proactive approach will allow you to identify and resolve potential issues before contracts are finalized, safeguarding the company and our clients.
- • You will serve as the escalation point for the most complex and high-impact deals. In this capacity, you will collaborate closely with Sales leadership, Revenue Operations, Finance, Legal, and executive stakeholders, including the CRO and CFO, to devise strategic solutions and ensure successful outcomes. Your ability to navigate intricate negotiations and secure executive buy-in will be paramount.
- • A significant part of your role will involve owning the end-to-end contracting workflows within Ironclad. This includes managing the entire lifecycle from initial intake and contract generation to negotiation, approvals, and final execution. Accuracy and alignment with Salesforce data will be a constant focus, ensuring that all contractual information is precisely reflected in our CRM.
- • You will provide essential day-to-day Sales Operations support to our Commercial and Enterprise teams. This involves diligently maintaining opportunity hygiene, ensuring the integrity of our data, and guaranteeing the accuracy of our pipeline within Salesforce. Your efforts will directly contribute to the reliability of our sales forecasting and reporting.
- • Furthermore, you will be responsible for managing and optimizing the Deal Desk and Sales Ops intake processes. This includes establishing Service Level Agreements (SLAs), prioritizing incoming requests, and actively working to reduce ad-hoc support needs by developing comprehensive documentation and implementing standardized workflows. Your focus will be on creating a more predictable and efficient operational environment.
- • Collaborating closely with Customer Success Operations (part of RevOps), you will ensure clean and efficient post-sale handoffs. This involves verifying accurate contract interpretation, confirming billing readiness, and providing essential operational support for renewals, expansions, and amendments. Your contribution will be vital in maintaining customer satisfaction and driving revenue growth through ongoing engagement.
- • You will partner with the broader RevOps team to enhance our systems and processes. This includes maintaining and optimizing Salesforce workflows, developing insightful dashboards, and generating critical reports. Your drive for continuous improvement will focus on accelerating deal velocity, increasing accuracy, and reducing contract cycle times, ultimately enhancing the overall efficiency of our sales engine.
- • This role demands a proactive, detail-oriented individual with a strong understanding of B2B SaaS sales cycles and the operational intricacies that support them. You will be a key player in ensuring CloudZero's continued growth and success by optimizing our sales operations and deal execution processes.
