- • Join D2B1 as a Sales Operations Specialist and play a pivotal role in driving our retail sales growth. This position is crucial for ensuring our retail partnerships are not just maintained, but optimized for maximum performance and profitability. You will be the financial and operational backbone for our Sales team, providing them with the insights and data they need to make informed decisions and execute effective growth strategies.
- • Your primary responsibility will be to analyze financial and category performance data. This involves diving deep into sales figures, understanding market trends, and identifying opportunities for improvement. You will be instrumental in translating raw data into actionable intelligence that guides our sales efforts and shapes our product strategies.
- • A key part of your role will be preparing and sharing comprehensive customer contact reports and insights with the Sales team. These reports will offer a clear picture of customer engagement, sales performance, and potential areas for development, ensuring our sales representatives are well-equipped to engage with clients effectively.
- • You will also provide essential support in category administration. This includes assisting with range reviews, where you'll help evaluate the current product offerings, and managing product assortment updates. Your input will be vital in ensuring our product lines are competitive, meet market demands, and align with our overall business objectives.
- • Forecasting is another critical area where you will contribute significantly. You will be responsible for forecasting commercials, which involves predicting future revenue and costs, as well as estimating stock requirements to ensure we have the right products available at the right time. Furthermore, you will forecast sales for both new and existing retail prospects, providing a forward-looking view that aids in strategic planning and resource allocation.
- • To ensure transparency and facilitate performance evaluation, you will provide regular sales reporting and analysis. This will give stakeholders a clear understanding of retail performance against targets, highlighting successes and areas needing attention. Your analytical skills will be key to identifying trends, understanding variances, and recommending corrective actions.
- • Maintaining the accuracy and timeliness of sales forecasts is paramount. You will be responsible for updating and maintaining these forecasts according to established processes and timelines, ensuring that our internal planning and external commitments are based on the most up-to-date information available.
- • Beyond routine tasks, you will also support ad hoc retail operations and reporting projects as required. This means you’ll be adaptable and ready to tackle new challenges, contributing your skills to various initiatives that aim to enhance our sales operations and overall business performance. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain broad exposure to the commercial and operational aspects of a growing retail business, making a tangible impact on our success.
- • You will work closely with the Sales team, providing them with the data-driven insights they need to succeed. This involves understanding their challenges, anticipating their needs, and delivering clear, concise, and accurate information. Your ability to communicate complex data in an understandable way will be highly valued.
- • The role demands a proactive approach, a keen eye for detail, and a commitment to continuous improvement. You will be expected to identify inefficiencies, propose solutions, and implement changes that streamline our sales operations and enhance overall productivity.
- • By ensuring accurate reporting, effective category management, and reliable forecasting, you will directly contribute to the optimization of our retail partnerships and the achievement of our sales growth targets. This is a dynamic role that offers significant opportunities for professional development within a supportive and forward-thinking company.
- • You will be a key player in bridging the gap between sales strategy and operational execution, ensuring that our commercial ambitions are grounded in solid data and efficient processes. Your work will empower the Sales team to focus on building relationships and closing deals, knowing that the operational and financial underpinnings are robust and reliable.
- • This position requires a blend of analytical prowess, financial acumen, and operational understanding. You will be expected to manage multiple priorities effectively in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating strong organizational skills and a results-oriented mindset. Your contributions will be essential in maintaining the integrity of our sales data and ensuring the smooth functioning of our retail operations.
