📋 Description
- • Certn is revolutionizing the background check industry with its innovative and user-friendly platform, aiming to simplify the path to trust for millions of individuals seeking jobs, housing, and other opportunities. Having secured significant funding and achieved consistent recognition on the Deloitte Fast 50™ list, Certn is poised for substantial growth and impact. We are a dynamic, remote-first company comprised of collaborative builders who are passionate about solving real-world problems. Our culture fosters curiosity, encourages rapid iteration, and prioritizes a supportive yet high-performance environment where individual contributions are valued and amplified.
- • The Sales & Partnership Enablement Specialist will play a pivotal role in establishing and scaling Certn's sales and partner enablement functions from the ground up. This critical position is designed to significantly enhance the effectiveness and accelerate the pace of both the direct Sales and Partner teams. By providing clear, compelling messaging, developing practical and accessible tools, implementing repeatable and efficient processes, and delivering targeted, impactful training, this role will directly contribute to achieving and exceeding revenue targets.
- • This cross-functional role requires close collaboration with key departments including Sales Leadership, Partnerships, Marketing, Product, and Revenue Operations. The primary objective is to translate high-level company strategy into consistent, actionable, day-to-day execution across both direct sales channels and partner-led revenue generation initiatives. The Specialist will be instrumental in ensuring that our sales and partner teams are equipped with the knowledge, skills, and resources necessary to succeed in a competitive market.
- • Key responsibilities include the design, development, and ongoing maintenance of essential enablement assets. This encompasses creating comprehensive playbooks, crafting effective talk tracks, developing competitive battlecards, preparing persuasive sales decks, and producing concise one-pagers that empower Sales and Partner teams to articulate Certn's value proposition effectively.
- • A significant part of the role will involve building and delivering robust onboarding programs tailored for new sales hires and incoming partners. This includes designing structured ramp plans, creating engaging training materials, and establishing clear readiness criteria to ensure a swift and successful integration into their roles.
- • The Specialist will also be responsible for delivering continuous training sessions that address critical areas such as new product updates, evolving messaging strategies, competitive landscape shifts, and essential skill development for the sales and partner teams.
- • Operationalizing and documenting sales and partner processes is another core function. This involves clearly defining sales stages, outlining partner engagement motions, establishing seamless handoff procedures, and creating standardized, repeatable playbooks for all key revenue-generating activities.
- • As the content owner for enablement resources, the Specialist will ensure all materials are current, easily discoverable, and actively utilized by the relevant teams, serving as the definitive source of truth for sales and partner enablement content.
- • Success in this role hinges on strong cross-functional collaboration, aligning priorities and execution strategies with Sales Leadership, Partnerships, Product Marketing, Product Management, and Revenue Operations to ensure cohesive go-to-market efforts.
- • Furthermore, the Specialist will define, meticulously track, and report on key enablement success metrics. This includes monitoring crucial indicators such as time-to-ramp for new hires, content engagement and usage rates, training completion rates, and their impact on sales stage conversion rates, providing data-driven insights to optimize enablement strategies.
- • The role operates under standard business hours within the employee's local time zone (typically 9:00 am - 5:00 pm). Given Certn's globally distributed team, some flexibility will be necessary to facilitate effective collaboration across Pacific and GMT time zones. This is an active recruitment, and we aim to fill the position as soon as possible.
