- • As a Sales & Partnerships Specialist at ALX Africa in Casablanca, you will drive revenue growth by building, managing, and converting a strong pipeline of B2B and B2G opportunities, with a strategic focus on corporate training as a key growth lever and additional revenue-generating partnerships that support ALX’s mission to empower 2 million Africans by 2030 with sustainable tech careers.
- • You will own the full sales cycle from prospecting and outreach to negotiation and closing, engaging corporate and institutional stakeholders to structure deals that deliver measurable business outcomes while maintaining high activity levels and clear pipeline visibility.
- • ALX Africa is a non-profit organisation under the ALX Foundation, dedicated to unlocking Africa’s digital future through world-class tech skills training and career acceleration programmes, with hubs in 8 cities across Africa and a proven impact of 347k+ graduates since 2020, 257k youth in work, 31k youth starting ventures, and 60k youth in jobs created by entrepreneurs.
- • You will play a critical role in developing and scaling corporate training as a new strategic revenue stream by identifying upskilling needs, structuring tailored offerings, and refining the product based on market feedback, while also pursuing sponsorships, learner funding mechanisms, and access fee coverage to ensure financial sustainability.
- • Day to day, you will proactively source leads through outbound outreach, networking, and market mapping; maintain a high volume of calls, meetings, and follow-ups; lead negotiations with corporate stakeholders by articulating clear value propositions and commercial terms; structure agreements that convert relationships into revenue-generating deals; and track key metrics such as pipeline health, conversion rates, and revenue to continuously improve performance through data-driven reporting.
- • You will collaborate with internal teams to ensure alignment between revenue generation and ALX’s mission, operating with high ownership, accountability, and execution discipline while embracing the organisation’s values of courage, humility, adventure, initiative, and resilience in a flexible, field-oriented role requiring regular on-the-ground presence and travel to meet prospects and partners.
- • In this role, you will develop deep expertise in B2B and B2G sales within the education and tech skills sector, master the art of structuring complex partnerships in emerging markets, and gain hands-on experience scaling a nascent revenue vertical (corporate training) from zero to scale — positioning yourself as a builder and strategic operator in a mission-driven, high-impact organisation shaping Africa’s digital workforce.
- • You will achieve measurable impact by directly contributing to ALX’s financial sustainability and growth trajectory, helping to expand access to tech education for thousands of Africans, and building a track record of closing high-value institutional deals that create lasting social and economic change.
🎯 Requirements
- • 6–8 years of experience in sales, business development, or commercial roles with a proven track record of closing deals and generating revenue (mandatory)
- • Strong experience managing full sales cycles from prospecting to closing, including negotiation and deal structuring with corporate and institutional stakeholders
- • Experience in corporate training, education, consulting, or similar services is a strong advantage; comfort with high activity levels (calls, meetings, outreach) and strong data literacy (Excel/Google Sheets)
