- • Farel is rebuilding the core software stack of the airline industry with an AI-native platform that replaces legacy systems for managing commerce, operations, and passenger journeys, enabling airlines to run faster, more flexible businesses. This part-time Sales Representative role is critical to overcoming language barriers in the German market by engaging airline prospects in person, building trust through face-to-face interactions, and creating pathways for the EU-based Account Executive to close deals — directly supporting Farel’s mission to modernize airline infrastructure with intelligent, vertically integrated software.
- • The role involves visiting airline prospects in person through cold drop-ins at offices and airport HQs, drafting and sending German-language outreach to complement in-person efforts, building authentic relationships with decision-makers in their native language, scheduling meetings for the EU Account Executive, maintaining accurate CRM records, and conducting light research on prospects and contacts to inform strategy.
- • Farel is a Y Combinator-backed startup supported by Slow Ventures, SNR, and Bloomberg Beta, focused on transforming airline operations through cutting-edge software. The team is mission-driven, technically adept, and expanding into the DACH region, offering a unique opportunity to contribute to a high-impact venture at the intersection of aviation, AI, and enterprise SaaS.
- • In this role, you will develop real-world sales and relationship-building skills in a high-stakes B2B environment, gain exposure to airline executive-level stakeholders, deepen your understanding of enterprise SaaS sales cycles, and build a professional network in the aviation and tech industries — all while contributing directly to the growth of a innovative startup with clear potential for expansion and career progression.
🎯 Requirements
- • German speaker with good English proficiency
- • Currently enrolled as a business student at a German university, ideally in later semesters
- • Confident and comfortable showing up unannounced at prospect offices
- • Professional presence suitable for engaging airline directors and CEOs
- • Own transport or willingness to travel within Germany
- • Interest in startups, SaaS, or aviation is a bonus
