  • • As a Premier Market Sales Representative for Guardian Life Insurance Company of America, you will drive sales and retention of Group Benefit products by building and maintaining relationships with benefits brokers in Michigan, directly contributing to the company’s mission of inspiring well-being through comprehensive employee benefits solutions.
  • • Day to day, you will market and sell Guardian’s full Group Benefits portfolio—including Dental, Vision, Life, Disability, Absence, and Supplemental Health products—to brokers serving groups of 100–1,999 lives; develop and execute tactical sales strategies; collaborate with cross-functional teams on market trends; represent Guardian as a thought leader; and maintain required industry licensing through continuing education.
  • • You will join Guardian’s Group Benefits Distribution team, a mission-driven organization committed to ethical standards, diversity, and employee growth, where you’ll report to a Market Leader and operate with autonomy in a hybrid remote role requiring up to 60% travel within your Michigan territory.
  • • In this role, you will develop advanced expertise in group insurance sales, strengthen consultative selling and broker relationship management skills, achieve consistent production goals, and gain exposure to product innovation and process improvement initiatives that support long-term career growth in insurance and financial services.

🎯 Requirements

  • • BS, BA degree or equivalent industry experience
  • • Minimum of 4 years group insurance sales experience or equivalent combination of Guardian work experience, education, and/or related extracurricular activities
  • • Experience and knowledge of relevant industry products and processes including Worksite, LTD, Dental, complex absence products, online enrollment, experience rating, and dental network analysis
  • • Collaborative team player with ability to build rapport in person and virtually
  • • Exercise sound judgment and integrity in a changing, matrixed, and fast-paced environment
  • • Achieve required industry licensing within 90 days of hire and maintain through Continuing Education
