- • As a Sales Specialist, Emerging Technologies - Construction at Autodesk, you will play a pivotal role in driving revenue growth by identifying, developing, and closing sales opportunities for innovative technology solutions within the construction industry. You will act as a trusted advisor and technical expert, partnering with Account Executives and technical specialists to deliver value-based selling strategies that align with customer business outcomes and accelerate adoption of Autodesk’s emerging product portfolio.
- • Your day-to-day responsibilities will include proactively identifying new, upsell, and cross-sell opportunities for Emerging Technologies solutions; owning the full sales cycle from discovery through close; partnering with AEs and ARs in co-selling motions to expand solution adoption within existing accounts; serving as a subject matter expert for product groups such as Fusion, Water, and Construction; articulating product features, use cases, proofs of concept (POCs), and business outcomes to both technical and business stakeholders; developing and executing strategic sales plans to grow new revenue and scale market penetration; positioning Emerging Technologies as market-leading solutions through differentiated value storytelling; managing accurate sales forecasts and maintaining strong pipeline hygiene; leading or supporting complex customer negotiations, including pricing, packaging, and contract discussions; leading technical discovery sessions and engaging specialist resources as needed; and enabling partners on Emerging Technologies offerings while ensuring smooth transition of closed deals for renewal management.

🎯 Requirements
- • 5–8 years of experience in B2B sales, solutions sales, or technical sales roles
- • 3+ years of experience selling complex software, SaaS, or technology solutions
- • Demonstrated experience working in a matrixed sales environment with Account Executives, technical specialists, and partners
- • Proven track record of driving pipeline growth, expansion sales, and revenue attainment
- • Advanced product expertise with ability to discuss complex features, configurations, POCs, and business outcomes
- • Strong technical acumen, including basic customization and proactive resolution of technical challenges
- • Expertise in value discovery, ROI modeling, and outcome-based selling
- • Exceptional storytelling, persuasion, and presentation skills with strong grasp of pricing and packaging strategies
- • Strong negotiation skills and experience supporting or leading complex enterprise deals
- • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Technology, or related field (or equivalent practical experience)
