- • The Sales Specialist, OEM Packaging role at Nordson Health Care Manufacturing is responsible for developing and managing business in North and Central Italy, with a focus on Emilia-Romagna and Veneto regions, driving sales growth through value-based selling and strategic account management.
- • Day-to-day responsibilities include managing the full sales cycle (offering, negotiation, closing, after-sales support), identifying and targeting top OEM accounts, developing account plans and forecasts, monitoring competitor activity, and serving as the primary point of contact for OEM clients to build long-term partnerships.
- • The role involves close collaboration with product management, engineering, customer support, and operations teams to ensure solutions meet customer needs, guarantee timely deliveries, and maintain quality service through coordinated efforts.
- • The person in this role will develop expertise in technical sales within the packaging and automation sectors, enhance strategic account management skills, and contribute to Nordson’s mission of delivering precision technology solutions that improve productivity and efficiency for manufacturers.
🎯 Requirements
- • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or related field (MBA a plus)
- • 5+ years of B2B sales experience, preferably in OEM/Packaging/Automation
- • Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets
- • Strong technical acumen and ability to understand customer applications
- • Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills
- • Experience with CRM and SAP tools and structured sales methodologies (value selling, solution selling)
- • Willingness to travel regularly (80% of time) to meet OEM clients in Northern and Central Italy
- • Valid clean driving license
- • Fluent English language skills (mandatory)
