- • The Sales Trader Analyst-Securities Finance role at Interactive Brokers LLC is an entry-level position focused on supporting institutional clients in securities lending, short selling, and complex arbitrage strategies, playing a key role in enhancing IBKR’s Delta One book and securities lending products.
- • Day-to-day responsibilities include providing securities lending market color to hedge funds, ETF managers, and proprietary trading firms; serving as a subject matter expert for cross-functional teams; pricing Delta One trades using Bloomberg and Excel; building financial models to assess risk, revenue, and balance sheet impact; proposing and executing new projects; expanding the fully-paid securities lending program; generating P&L reports; and supporting US IPO syndicate activities.
- • The Securities Finance desk operates within Interactive Brokers’ global institutional services division, collaborating closely with Client Service, Risk, Treasury, Sales, Operations, Product, and Legal teams to deliver innovative trading solutions and maintain competitive edge in prime brokerage services.
- • This role offers the opportunity to develop deep expertise in securities finance, financial modeling, and institutional trading workflows while contributing to product innovation and client-facing initiatives in a fast-paced, technology-driven environment at a globally recognized brokerage firm.
🎯 Requirements
- • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Mathematics, or a related field
- • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with ability to conceptualize and complete projects that increase P&L and enhance client experience
- • Proficiency in Excel, including XLOOKUP and Pivot Tables, for pricing Delta One trades and building financial models
- • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to interact with clients and internal stakeholders using sound judgment and integrity
