In this pivotal remote role within the UK, you will be instrumental in designing, developing, and optimizing scalable enterprise solutions that address complex business challenges and drive innovation.
• • As a key member of our technology team, you will leverage your deep expertise in both Salesforce Core and the specialized capabilities of Salesforce Industries (Vlocity) to build robust and efficient applications. Your work will directly impact our ability to connect customers and teams globally, empowering CX leaders with the insights and tools they need to make smarter decisions, delight their customers, and achieve lasting business growth.
• • Your primary focus will be on Solution Development, where you will architect and implement cutting-edge solutions across the Salesforce ecosystem. This includes developing sophisticated OmniStudio components such as OmniScripts for guided user experiences, Integration Procedures for complex business logic, DataRaptors/Data Mappers for efficient data transformation, and FlexCards for dynamic data display.
• • You will also be responsible for crafting custom functionality using Apex, SOQL for data querying, Lightning Web Components (LWC) for modern, performant user interfaces, and Visualforce for legacy or specific UI needs. This blend of declarative and programmatic development ensures comprehensive and tailored solutions.
• • A significant part of your role will involve configuring and optimizing Vlocity CPQ (Configure, Price, Quote) functionalities. This includes deep engagement with the Enterprise Product Catalog (EPC), sophisticated product modeling, defining intricate pricing rules, managing promotions, and implementing guided selling processes to streamline sales operations.
• • Furthermore, you will implement and manage Vlocity Order Management, overseeing the entire lifecycle from order capture and decomposition to orchestration and fulfillment. This ensures seamless processing of customer orders and efficient delivery of services.
• • In the realm of System Integration, you will design and develop robust integrations connecting Salesforce with external systems. This involves utilizing REST/SOAP APIs and leveraging middleware tools like MuleSoft or Boomi to ensure seamless data flow and interoperability.
• • You will build high-performance Integration Procedures specifically designed for both real-time and batch integrations, ensuring that data is synchronized accurately and efficiently across all enterprise systems.
