  • • Are you a dynamic and experienced Salesforce Trainer looking to make a substantial impact within a growing organization? Thunder is seeking a dedicated Salesforce Training Specialist on a contract basis to join our remote US-based team. At Thunder, we are driven by a mission to empower our clients to truly maximize their Salesforce investments through human-centered activation and adoption strategies that foster lasting engagement. We believe in making Salesforce not just a tool, but a partner that clients love to use, forever.
  • • As a Salesforce Training Specialist, you will be at the forefront of ensuring successful user adoption following the implementation of new Salesforce solutions. Your primary responsibility will be to design, develop, and deliver highly engaging and customized training programs. This includes everything from comprehensive end-user enablement sessions to sophisticated Train-the-Trainer models, all aimed at equipping clients with the confidence and skills to effectively leverage their new tools and processes.
  • • This is an exciting contract opportunity with the potential for extension and growth into a longer-term engagement. You will collaborate closely with a variety of cross-functional teams, including project managers, implementation consultants, and client stakeholders, to deliver scalable, innovative training and change management experiences that are integral to enterprise transformation.
  • • Your journey begins with a deep dive into understanding the impacted user groups. This involves thoroughly analyzing their current tools, workflows, and existing pain points. Subsequently, you will meticulously assess the future-state changes introduced by the new Salesforce solution, clearly articulating the benefits, rationale, and value proposition behind these enhancements to foster buy-in and understanding.
  • • Based on this comprehensive insight, you will then develop and execute a tailored enablement and change management strategy. This strategy will be meticulously designed to guide users smoothly and effectively through the transition, minimizing disruption and maximizing proficiency.
  • • Key responsibilities include:
  • • Designing and delivering bespoke end-user training programs specifically tailored for clients post-implementation of Salesforce, AWS, or other related enterprise systems.
  • • Facilitating dynamic virtual and/or in-person training sessions and readiness activities, providing essential hands-on coaching and ongoing support during and after the training delivery.
  • • Conducting thorough needs analyses for each client engagement to ensure training content is precisely customized to their unique use-cases, user profiles, and organizational objectives.
  • • Developing a diverse range of engaging training materials, including comprehensive user guides, concise tip sheets, quick reference guides, interactive tutorials, and compelling video content, to enrich the learning process and cater to various learning styles.
  • • Leading or significantly contributing to Organizational Change Management (OCM) initiatives, encompassing critical activities such as stakeholder alignment, comprehensive readiness assessments, and effective change agent enablement.
  • • Maintaining transparent and consistent communication and collaboration with internal Thunder teams and client business leads throughout the entire lifecycle of training development and delivery.
  • • Evaluating training effectiveness through regular weekly touchpoints and targeted feedback survey data, utilizing insights to iterate and adapt training approaches for continuous improvement.
  • • Developing and meticulously maintaining a centralized repository of training resources and documentation to facilitate ongoing client support and knowledge sharing.
  • • Cultivating and maintaining a deep, up-to-date understanding of Salesforce and AWS capabilities, features, and industry best practices, ensuring that training modules incorporate the latest advancements and functionalities.
  • • This role is crucial for driving user adoption and ensuring our clients achieve their desired business outcomes through successful Salesforce implementation. Your ability to translate complex technical information into accessible, actionable learning will be paramount to our clients' success and Thunder's reputation.
