- • In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for the end-to-end implementation, configuration, and ongoing optimization of the SAP FI module. You will collaborate intimately with finance stakeholders to translate intricate business requirements into effective SAP solutions, ensuring that all financial operations are precisely reflected within the system. Your expertise will be crucial in the creation, validation, and continuous enhancement of financial scenarios, directly impacting the accuracy and efficiency of our clients' financial operations. A significant part of your contribution will involve ensuring the smooth execution of clearing, reconciliation, and critical month-end and year-end closing activities, upholding the highest standards of financial integrity.
- • Key Responsibilities:
- • Lead and manage the full lifecycle of SAP FI module implementations, from initial design and blueprinting through to go-live and post-implementation support. Ensure all implementations are meticulously aligned with diverse business requirements and strategic objectives.
- • Configure and customize the SAP FI module extensively, including but not limited to General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and Asset Accounting (AA). This involves setting up chart of accounts, company codes, fiscal year variants, document types, and posting keys to meet specific client needs.
- • Design, develop, and implement robust financial business processes within SAP FI, working in close partnership with finance and accounting teams to understand their unique workflows and challenges.
- • Create, validate, and maintain sophisticated validation scenarios, rules, and workflows within SAP FI to guarantee data accuracy, process integrity, and compliance with internal controls and external regulations.
- • Implement and optimize clearing processes for various accounts, including customer accounts, vendor accounts, and general ledger accounts, to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
- • Develop and execute comprehensive reconciliation strategies and procedures to ensure the accuracy, completeness, and consistency of financial data across different sub-modules and integrated systems.
- • Automate and streamline clearing and reconciliation processes wherever feasible, leveraging SAP functionalities and best practices to reduce manual effort and minimize errors.
- • Coordinate, execute, and oversee critical month-end and year-end closing activities within the SAP FI module, ensuring adherence to strict deadlines and accounting standards.
- • Ensure timely and accurate generation of financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, meeting both internal and external reporting requirements.
- • Proactively identify, troubleshoot, and resolve any issues or discrepancies that arise during the closing process, including the preparation and posting of necessary adjusting entries.
- • Conduct thorough testing of all SAP FI configurations, customizations, and developed functionalities to verify that they meet specified business requirements and perform as expected.
- • Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for SAP FI configurations, customizations, validation scenarios, process flows, and end-user guides.
- • Provide effective training, guidance, and ongoing support to end-users, finance teams, and other stakeholders, empowering them to utilize the SAP FI module effectively.
- • Continuously monitor the performance of the SAP FI system, identifying opportunities for improvement and recommending enhancements to boost efficiency, accuracy, and user experience.
- • Stay abreast of the latest SAP FI advancements, new functionalities, and industry best practices, ensuring that implemented solutions remain current and evolve in line with business needs and technological progress.
- • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand integration points and dependencies between SAP FI and other SAP modules (e.g., CO, MM, SD) and non-SAP systems, ensuring seamless data flow and process harmonization.
- • Contribute to the strategic vision of AI-driven financial automation at Tessera Labs, applying your SAP FI expertise to enhance the capabilities of our Mosaic AI platform.

🎯 Requirements
- • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Technology, or a closely related field.
- • Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience with SAP FI module implementation, configuration, and ongoing support.
- • Proven expertise in configuring and customizing core SAP FI components including General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and Asset Accounting (AA).
- • Strong understanding and practical experience with financial business processes, including clearing, reconciliation, and month-end/year-end closing procedures.
- • Experience in designing and implementing validation scenarios and ensuring data integrity within SAP FI.
- • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with finance stakeholders and technical teams.
- • Familiarity with integration points between SAP FI and other SAP modules (e.g., CO, MM, SD) is highly desirable.
- • Experience with SAP S/4HANA Finance is a significant plus.
