• • As we continue to scale and propel Inflection forward, we are seeking a talented and ambitious DevOps Engineer (SDE2) to join our dynamic team. This role is crucial in managing and optimizing our production infrastructure, ensuring the seamless operation and continuous improvement of our platform. You will be instrumental in maintaining the high availability, scalability, and reliability that our customers expect.
• • The ideal candidate will possess hands-on experience with critical cloud technologies, including AWS, Kubernetes, and Terraform. A solid understanding of CI/CD tools and queueing systems is highly desirable, as is a proven ability to automate and optimize complex workflows. We are looking for an individual who is not only technically proficient but also eager to accelerate their learning and contribute significantly within a small, agile, and collaborative team environment.
• • In this role, you will be responsible for the comprehensive management and optimization of our production infrastructure hosted on AWS. This includes ensuring that our systems are highly scalable, resilient, and performant to meet the demands of our growing customer base. You will play a key part in deploying and orchestrating containerized applications using Kubernetes, a leading platform for managing containerized workloads.
• • A significant aspect of your contribution will involve implementing and maintaining our infrastructure as code (IaC) using Terraform. This practice ensures that our infrastructure is version-controlled, repeatable, and manageable, significantly reducing the risk of manual errors and improving deployment efficiency. You will also be tasked with setting up and managing robust CI/CD pipelines, leveraging tools like Jenkins or GitHub Actions, to automate and streamline our software deployment processes, enabling faster and more reliable releases.
• • Troubleshooting and resolving infrastructure-related issues will be a core responsibility, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal performance across all our services. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering and product, to understand technical requirements, contribute to architectural decisions, and deliver effective solutions that align with our business goals.
