📋 Description

  • As SDR Manager, EMEA Outbound at DeepL, you will lead and develop a team of seven outbound Sales Development Representatives across the EMEA region, driving performance against pipeline targets and owning the strategy, performance, and culture of your team.
  • You will spend a significant portion of your time coaching through call reviews, role-plays, deal reviews, and structured 1:1s, while building a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and career progression toward quota-carrying sales roles.
  • You will define and execute the outbound strategy aligned with broader sales and marketing objectives, partnering with Marketing and Field Marketing on campaigns, territory priorities, and target account lists, ensuring activity is purposeful, personalised, and tied to clear pipeline outcomes.
  • You will monitor and analyse team performance data using Salesforce and Salesloft to guide coaching, manage operational rhythms, and implement process improvements that increase productivity and output quality.
  • You will collaborate with EMEA Sales leadership, Enablement, Marketing, and Revenue Operations to align territory strategy, ensure proper tooling and content, and feed market intelligence back into the business.
  • You will act as a role model for outbound excellence, embodying the standards you expect from your team while supporting their growth and development within DeepL’s structured career progression framework.

🎯 Requirements

  • Substantial experience in an SDR or Sales Development Management role with a strong track record of leading outbound teams to consistent pipeline targets.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken, to native-level English standard.
  • Proven ability to use data and performance metrics to drive coaching decisions and improve team output.
  • Proficiency with Salesforce and Salesloft (or equivalent sales engagement platforms).
  • Experience working in an international, fast-paced SaaS or technology business.
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration skills with comfort working closely with Sales, Marketing, and Operations stakeholders.
