- • Lead and scale a high-performing SDR team to drive pipeline growth and support Virta Health’s mission of reversing metabolic disease in one billion people by aligning sales development strategy with company-wide go-to-market objectives.
- • Coach, mentor, and develop a team of SDRs—including full-time employees and agency partners—through goal setting, performance tracking, call coaching, enablement sessions, and career development to unlock individual and team potential while fostering an inclusive, accountable, and high-performance culture.
- • Own SDR team performance against pipeline and activity targets, proactively identifying gaps, analyzing metrics, and driving data-informed solutions to achieve ambitious growth goals in a fast-moving, mission-driven environment.
- • Partner closely with Sales, Marketing, and Business Operations to align on targeting, messaging, and campaign strategy, ensuring cohesive go-to-market execution and establishing closed-loop feedback mechanisms for continuous improvement.
- • Refine and scale outbound strategies by incorporating best practices, data insights, experimentation, and innovative approaches—including leveraging technology and AI—to enhance SDR productivity, efficiency, and impact.
- • Act as a key voice of the SDR function by communicating insights, trends, and recommendations to senior leadership to inform broader business strategy and influence cross-functional decision-making.
- • Build strong relationships with team members, cross-functional partners, and senior stakeholders during the first 90 days to establish trust, align on priorities, and gain deep understanding of Virta’s pitch, value proposition, sales motion, and reporting dashboards.
- • Contribute to a values-driven culture that prioritizes people first, ownership, positive impact, humility, transparency, evidence-based decision-making, and rapid iteration—where every team member is empowered to bring their full self to work.
🎯 Requirements
- • 3-5 years of experience in a sales development leadership or manager role with a proven track record of leading high-performing teams and consistently delivering on pipeline goals.
- • Strong leadership presence with the ability to influence, communicate, and collaborate effectively with senior stakeholders, demonstrating exceptional interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
- • Highly organized with a bias toward action, ownership, and continuous improvement; experience in the employer benefits space and/or health plan industry is preferred.
