- • The Security Solutions Advisor is responsible for acquiring net-new security business within a given territory, leveraging SHI data and partner information to identify and generate sales opportunities and meetings with security prospects through outreach and account profiling, while serving as a customer-facing subject matter expert to build pipeline and close security deals.
- • Day-to-day responsibilities include generating, identifying, and driving pipeline by understanding customer needs and positioning SHI’s solutions; driving security growth by profiling, qualifying, and prospecting into enterprise security whitespace target accounts; serving as a subject matter expert on security products and services to help customers select, deploy, adopt, and manage technology; engaging with enterprise sales and technical teams to initiate the sales cycle, qualify opportunities, and close pipeline; strategically partnering with sales leadership and account executives to execute acquisition strategies; executing sales against new security logo KPIs and managing pipeline effectively; and guiding customers through foundational governance best practices for successful and scalable cloud adoption.

- • In this role, the individual can develop deep expertise in enterprise security sales, refine consultative selling and technical advisory skills, build a track record of new logo acquisition in whitespace accounts, strengthen cross-functional collaboration with sales and technical teams, and advance into senior sales or leadership roles within SHI’s growing security practice.
🎯 Requirements
- • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant work experience
- • 3+ years of experience in inside or outside sales
- • 2+ years of direct security sales experience
- • 2+ years of experience prospecting new business in whitespace accounts
- • Proficiency with CRM software and Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) at an intermediate level
- • Ability to travel up to 20%
