📋 Description
- • The Sem Lecturer – Ed Studies/ESQUAL role involves teaching ESQUAL courses within the Department of Educational Studies at The Ohio State University, contributing to the academic development of students in qualitative research and intersectionality.
- • Day-to-day responsibilities include serving as instructor for assigned course sections, maintaining and updating course content in Canvas, providing timely feedback and grading on student assignments, holding weekly office hours, supporting students who may be struggling, and attending required course meetings.
- • The position is part of the College of Education and Human Ecology (EHE), which emphasizes excellence, diversity, justice, innovation, and internationalization, fostering a collegial and respectful academic environment.
- • The lecturer will have the opportunity to deepen expertise in qualitative research methods, particularly in intersectionality, while gaining experience in online course delivery and student mentorship within a major research university setting.
🎯 Requirements
- • PhD in Educational Studies, Higher Education, or a closely related field
- • Demonstrated expertise in qualitative research methodologies
- • Prior teaching experience at the college or university level
- • Preferred: Expertise in Intersectionality in Qualitative Research
