- • Own the end-to-end execution of high-impact paid search campaigns on Google Ads and Bing Ads that fuel Forbes Marketplace’s growth across India’s most competitive verticals—finance, insurance, and consumer services. You will architect campaigns from keyword research and ad-group structure to final bid rules, ensuring every rupee spent is traceable to revenue.
- • Partner daily with the Paid Search Manager and cross-functional teams (SEO, content, product, and design) to translate business goals into measurable SEM strategies. Your briefs will shape ad copy, landing pages, and audience targeting that resonate with Indian consumers while staying globally consistent with Forbes’ premium brand voice.
- • Continuously monitor, analyze, and optimize campaign performance using real-time dashboards and deep-dive reports. You will own KPIs such as CTR, CPC, conversion rate, and ROAS, turning raw data into clear narratives that guide budget re-allocation, creative testing, and bid-strategy pivots.
- • Conduct rigorous competitor and market intelligence using SEMrush, SimilarWeb, and custom scripts to uncover gaps, benchmark spend, and surface emerging keyword opportunities. Your insights will directly influence quarterly planning and keep Forbes Marketplace one step ahead in auction dynamics.
- • Build and refine automated bidding strategies—Target CPA, Target ROAS, and portfolio-level scripts—to scale campaigns efficiently across accounts ranging from six-figure to multi-million-rupee budgets. You will A/B test machine-learning models against manual rules to prove incremental lift.
- • Maintain meticulous campaign hygiene: negative-keyword sculpting, ad-extension rotation, quality-score audits, and landing-page alignment. Your attention to detail safeguards brand safety, maximizes impression share, and reduces wasted spend.
- • Present weekly performance readouts to stakeholders, translating complex data into actionable recommendations. You will field live questions, defend strategic choices, and secure buy-in for budget increases or experimental alphas/betas.
- • Mentor junior analysts and share best-practice playbooks, fostering a culture of experimentation and continuous learning within the remote-first SEM pod.
- • Stay ahead of India-specific policy changes, tax-season spikes, and festive-sale surges—adjusting geo-bids, ad schedules, and creative messaging to capture intent at the precise moment it peaks.
🎯 Requirements
- • 4+ years of hands-on experience managing large-scale Google Ads and Bing Ads campaigns with proven ROI improvement
- • Advanced Excel skills: pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, Power Query, and data visualization for large datasets
- • Deep working knowledge of SEMrush, Google Analytics 4, and at least one bid-management platform (Search Ads 360, Optmyzr, or similar)
- • Demonstrated success with automated bidding strategies (Target CPA, Target ROAS, portfolio scripts) across multiple accounts
- • Strong analytical mindset with ability to translate data into actionable insights and communicate them clearly to non-technical stakeholders
- • Self-starter comfortable working remotely across IST business hours with excellent time-management and prioritization skills
