📋 Description

• Senior Account Executive role at Katana Manufacturing OÜ, a remote-first, AI-first SaaS company building inventory and manufacturing software for 1,500+ businesses worldwide. This is a foundational, ownership-driven role where you will shape the Advantage sales motion from the ground up as the first dedicated AE for this new go-to-market initiative targeting mid-market, multi-channel, multi-location businesses scaling beyond basic tools.
• Day to day, you will own complex mid-market deals end-to-end with ACV between CA$15K–CA$50K, run deep discovery to quantify pain and map stakeholders across Operations, IT, Finance, and the C-suite, navigate buying committees, scope and negotiate custom SOW-based engagements, manage longer sales cycles with disciplined follow-through, and introduce expansion opportunities during initial deal scope. You will also source and develop your own pipeline when needed, demonstrating a hunter mentality by identifying trigger events, engineering referrals, or building outbound angles to create opportunities beyond inbound leads.
• Katana is a 100+ person team across 10+ countries in an exciting phase of expansion, moving beyond small merchants into the modern mid-market. The company values speed, visibility, and real ownership — your wins are directly attributed, you report to Commercial Leadership, and you shape processes that will define how the company scales upmarket. You’ll work in an environment where ideas move fast: test an angle Monday, see it in pipeline by Friday, with no bureaucratic gates slowing execution.
• In this role, you will learn to build and defend ROI-driven business cases for C-suite audiences, position against entrenched ERP and operations platforms by highlighting fit and time-to-value, and create repeatable sales motions from ambiguous requirements. By 6 months, you’ll have closed meaningful business and shaped a repeatable process that’s yours; by 12 months, you’ll consistently exceed quota, have a reliable self-sourced pipeline, and have established your approach as part of Katana’s official sales methodology — leaving a clear, credible legacy as the architect of their upmarket motion.
