  • • As a Senior Account Executive at Saltz, you will play a pivotal role in transforming how chefs and gastronomy businesses source ingredients by driving adoption and growth of a transparent digital marketplace that connects culinary professionals directly with trusted suppliers, eliminating inefficiencies in the traditional food supply chain.
  • • Your mission is to expand Saltz’s footprint across Budapest’s HoReCa sector by converting prospects into active users and deepening relationships with existing clients to unlock sustainable revenue growth through strategic upselling and cross-selling.
  • • Introduce Saltz to chefs, restaurant owners, F&B managers, and procurement teams, demonstrating how the platform enables transparent pricing, trusted supplier access, and streamlined ordering to win new business.
  • • Own and grow a portfolio of HoReCa accounts, focusing on increasing order frequency, basket size, and client retention through proactive engagement rather than passive maintenance.
  • • Conduct regular on-site visits to client kitchens and operations to understand pain points, observe workflows, and identify opportunities where Saltz can deliver greater value.
  • • Identify and execute upsell and cross-sell opportunities by asking insightful questions, listening actively, and tailoring solutions to evolving client needs such as multi-location expansion or new menu launches.
  • • Build trusted advisor relationships with chefs, GMs, and procurement leaders by consistently delivering value, demonstrating industry expertise, and positioning yourself as a go-to resource for sourcing innovation.
  • • Collaborate with product, operations, and marketing teams to relay client feedback and market insights that inform platform enhancements and go-to-market strategies.
  • • Drive platform adoption by ensuring a high percentage of accounts remain actively ordering, monitoring usage metrics, and intervening to re-engage dormant clients.
  • • Represent Saltz at industry events, trade fairs, supplier showcases, and restaurant openings, leveraging your HoReCa credibility to network, generate leads, and strengthen brand presence.

  • • You will develop deep expertise in B2B SaaS sales within the hospitality sector, mastering consultative selling techniques, account-based growth strategies, and value-based negotiation in a high-trust, relationship-driven industry.

🎯 Requirements

  • • Proven experience selling food products, ingredients, supplies, or beverages to restaurants, hotels, or other HoReCa clients, with a background in food distribution, wholesale, or supply chain sales.
  • • Demonstrated ability to grow existing accounts through upselling, cross-selling, and retention strategies, not just acquiring new clients.
  • • Native Hungarian language proficiency and strong English skills; additional European languages are considered a plus.

  • • Competitive base salary ranging from €33,000 to €44,000 per year gross, complemented by uncapped commission on top of base earnings.

  • • Monthly €200 Payhawk allowance for work-related expenses such as client coffees, meals, and small day-to-day operational costs.
