  • Senior Account Executive (m/w/d) – Enterprise & Strategic Accounts role at New Relic, Inc. focused on driving significant expansion and strategic development of a portfolio of key Enterprise customers across Germany. As an "Orchestrator of Value," the role translates complex technical observability solutions into quantifiable business outcomes for high-impact clients.
  • Day-to-day responsibilities include developing and managing multi-year strategic account plans, building trusted-advisor relationships with CTOs, VPs of Engineering, and SRE/DevOps leads, identifying and closing complex six- and seven-figure expansion opportunities (upsell/cross-sell), leading virtual account teams (Solution Consultants, SDRs, Marketing), maintaining accurate sales forecasts in Salesforce, and negotiating large enterprise agreements and renewals while managing procurement and legal processes.

  • In this role, the individual will develop expertise in enterprise SaaS sales, deepen strategic account management capabilities, master complex deal negotiation and forecasting, and grow as a trusted advisor to senior technology and business leaders—contributing directly to New Relic’s mission of optimizing digital applications for the world’s best companies.

🎯 Requirements

  • Extensive and proven experience in B2B SaaS sales for Enterprise customers with quota-carrying responsibility, particularly focused on expansion and complex renewals.
  • Demonstrated success in managing six- and seven-figure deals with sales cycles exceeding six months, proficiency in methodologies such as MEDDPIC, Challenger, or Value-based Selling.
  • Exceptional ability to communicate highly complex technical concepts clearly, persuasively, and with business acumen to both technical leaders (CTOs, VPs of Engineering) and business decision-makers.
  • Fluency in German and English is required.
  • Deep understanding of German business culture and the local Enterprise landscape.
