- • Senior Account Executive - Public Sector - Canada at Pano AI Inc., a mission-driven role focused on accelerating adoption of AI-powered wildfire detection technology across Canadian government agencies to enhance public safety and climate resilience.
- • Day-to-day responsibilities include building and managing a sales pipeline for state and local customers in Canada, leading full-cycle enterprise sales engagements with forestry, emergency management, and public safety organizations, collaborating with Government Affairs to navigate procurement processes, negotiating complex contracts, driving account expansions, and representing Pano at industry events while working cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, Marketing, Finance, and Customer Success teams.
- • Pano AI is a 175+ person growth-stage hybrid-remote startup headquartered in San Francisco, recognized as a leader in early wildfire detection and intelligence, serving government and enterprise customers across 16 U.S. states, five Australian states, and British Columbia, monitoring over 50 million acres globally, and backed by $89M in VC funding from top-tier investors including Salesforce Ventures and T-Mobile Ventures.
- • In this role, you will develop deep expertise in public sector sales cycles, climate technology adoption, and government procurement processes while making a tangible impact on wildfire prevention and emergency response capabilities; you’ll grow as a strategic advisor to C-level officials and contribute to scaling a mission-critical climate tech solution in North America.
🎯 Requirements
- • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or technical graduate degree preferred
- • 8+ years of full-cycle enterprise sales experience, ideally in SaaS, infrastructure, IoT, or managed services
- • Experience selling to or partnering with Federal, State and Local government
- • Proven success navigating highly regulated environments and long, multi-stakeholder sales cycles
- • Strategic thinking and strong executive presence; comfort presenting to VP, COO, and C-level decision-makers
- • Ability to thrive in early-stage, fast-paced environments with evolving processes
- • Mission alignment: passionate about climate adaptation, public safety, and technology for good
- • Travel up to 30%
