- • As a Senior Account Executive - Public Sector (Federal) at New Relic, you will drive growth in the U.S. Federal market by expanding existing accounts and acquiring new logos through strategic consultative sales engagements. This role is critical to helping federal agencies improve system uptime, performance, and mission success through cloud adoption, DevOps practices, and observability solutions.
- • You will develop and manage territory and account plans, provide accurate forecasts using the MEDDPIC framework, conduct product demonstrations, engage senior government executives, and collaborate with internal teams including Marketing, Sales Operations, and Finance to advance the sales process. You will also build relationships with FSIs and VARs to support pipeline development and deal execution.

🎯 Requirements
- • 8+ years of field sales experience selling enterprise software or business technology products and services to U.S. Federal agencies
- • Bachelor’s degree required
- • US Citizenship required (visa sponsorship not available)
- • Proven experience selling application, monitoring, or cloud-related complex software solutions
- • Demonstrated ability to manage and grow existing SaaS enterprise accounts
- • Outstanding track record of exceeding sales goals through new logo acquisition
- • Proficiency in forecasting, managing sales expenses, and using Salesforce
- • Exemplary written and oral communication skills
- • Excellent interpersonal, planning, and organizational skills
- • Experience with data management and analysis
