- • The Senior Account Executive serves as the strategic lead for complex, high-profile clients and their consultants, owning renewal strategy and driving long-term account plans aligned to client goals and organizational objectives.
- • Day to day, the role involves building strategic relationships, navigating high-stakes negotiations, managing complex accounts to drive sales and retention targets, leading long-term client relationships as a primary advisor, communicating insights across stakeholders, and solving complex or ambiguous situations with sound judgment.
- • The role sits within Evernorth Health Services, a division of The Cigna Group, which creates pharmacy, care, and benefit solutions to improve health and increase vitality for millions of people, offering high visibility across senior leaders and partners.
- • The person can deepen organizational knowledge, sharpen consultative skills, gain autonomy to drive innovation and growth, mentor peers, guide cross-functional collaboration, and represent the client voice as a trusted expert and internal influencer.
🎯 Requirements
- • 7+ years of experience in client-facing roles; healthcare benefits or consulting experience strongly preferred.
- • Bachelor’s degree preferred; MBA or other advanced degrees preferred.
- • Proven success in managing complex client relationships and driving strategic outcomes through consultative engagement.
- • Strong business and financial acumen with ability to assess risk, identify opportunities, and influence results.
- • Skilled at leading complex client conversations, influencing stakeholders, and delivering difficult messages with professionalism and confidence.
- • Strong internal collaboration skills and experience guiding cross-functional efforts.
