- • Senior Account Manager, Commercial at Ramp Business Corporation is a strategic, high-impact role responsible for owning post-implementation relationships with commercial customers, driving deep product adoption, spend activation, and long-term growth. This role is critical to Ramp’s mission of building smart financial infrastructure that saves customers 5% and grows revenue 16% in their first year — you will be the trusted advisor who turns transactions into transformative outcomes.
- • You will build and nurture executive-level relationships across your book of business, becoming the go-to partner for decision-makers by uncovering layered pain points, aligning Ramp’s solutions to business outcomes, and driving urgency through value-led conversations that overcome complex objections and unlock expansion opportunities.
- • Day-to-day, you will conduct consultative discovery to identify second- and third-level needs, own retention and expansion metrics, develop and execute multi-threaded account strategies, lead Executive Business Reviews (EBRs/QBRs) with tailored presentations, maintain precise Salesforce pipeline hygiene, serve as a product expert on ERP/HRIS integrations, synthesize customer feedback to influence roadmap, mentor new team members, and collaborate cross-functionally with product, support, and marketing to ensure seamless customer experiences.
- • You will join a high-agency, high-urgency team at Ramp where everyone is a builder who owns problems end to end. The Commercial AM team operates in a fast-moving, evolving environment where slope matters more than intercept — you’ll be empowered to make consequential decisions that shape customer outcomes and internal processes, with direct visibility into how your work impacts over $100B in annualized spend across 50,000+ companies.
- • In this role, you will develop mastery in enterprise B2B relationship strategy, financial technology adoption, and executive-level consulting — gaining exposure to cutting-edge fintech infrastructure, honing your ability to translate technical capabilities into business value, and positioning yourself as a leader in scaling high-growth SaaS companies. You’ll leave with a proven track record of driving expansion in complex commercial portfolios and the skills to architect customer success motions at scale.
🎯 Requirements
- • 5+ years of account management or B2B sales experience with a proven track record of driving expansion and retention within a commercial or mid-market portfolio
- • Demonstrated ability to run executive-level conversations and multi-thread across complex organizations
- • Strong discovery and consultative selling skills — ability to uncover second- and third-level pain points and tie solutions to real business outcomes
- • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with expertise tailoring messages for diverse audiences from finance analysts to C-suite executives
- • Strong organizational and project management skills, capable of independently prioritizing and managing a large, active book of business
- • Experience maintaining CRM hygiene (Salesforce preferred) and leveraging pipeline data for accurate forecasting and account planning
