- • As a Senior Account Manager at Airwallex, you will be at the forefront of empowering small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and growth-stage businesses to navigate and conquer the complexities of the global economy. You will own and cultivate a dynamic portfolio of high-potential customers, acting as their trusted advisor and strategic partner. Your primary mission will be to ensure these businesses maximize the value derived from the Airwallex platform, driving their expansion and success through insightful, consultative engagement and a deep understanding of their unique financial and operational needs.
- • This role is meticulously crafted for an individual who not only thrives in a fast-paced, high-velocity environment but also excels at balancing strategic account ownership with hands-on, proactive execution. You will be instrumental in translating product usage and engagement into tangible, measurable business impact for our clients, fostering loyalty and driving significant growth.
- • You will serve as the primary point of contact for a dedicated portfolio of strategic, high-revenue accounts, focusing on cultivating strong, long-term relationships. Your efforts will be directed towards ensuring customer retention, identifying and capitalizing on expansion opportunities, and ultimately maximizing the lifetime value of each client.
- • A key aspect of this role involves mentoring and developing junior Account Managers. You will share your expertise, providing invaluable guidance on crafting effective account strategies, executing complex deals, and implementing best practices for customer engagement, thereby elevating the overall performance of the team.
- • You will become a recognized subject-matter expert on the comprehensive Airwallex platform. This expertise will be leveraged to advise customers on best practices, recommend tailored solutions that directly align with their specific business objectives, and help them unlock new efficiencies and revenue streams.
- • A significant part of your responsibility will be to lead sophisticated expansion and cross-sell initiatives within your existing accounts. This requires a keen ability to identify unmet needs, understand emerging opportunities, and skillfully convert them into new revenue streams, contributing directly to Airwallex's growth.
- • You will engage in high-level, consultative discussions with senior leadership and C-suite executives within client organizations. Your ability to clearly articulate the business value, demonstrate return on investment (ROI), and build strong rapport with key decision-makers will be crucial for success.
- • The development and meticulous execution of comprehensive account plans will be a core function. These plans will encompass detailed growth strategies, thorough stakeholder mapping, clear definition of success metrics, and proactive risk mitigation, ensuring a strategic and organized approach to account management.
- • Collaboration is paramount. You will work hand-in-hand with cross-functional teams, including Product, Solutions Engineering, Customer Support, and Compliance. This partnership is essential to ensure a seamless, integrated, and high-impact customer experience from onboarding through ongoing support and growth.
- • You will be adept at leveraging data, customer insights, and feedback gathered from regular business reviews (QBRs), usage analysis, and customer surveys. This data-driven approach will enable you to proactively identify potential risks, anticipate future needs, and uncover new opportunities for both the client and Airwallex.
- • As a senior member of the team, you will act as the primary point of escalation for complex customer issues. Your ability to ensure timely, effective resolution and maintain sustained customer trust, even in challenging situations, will be critical.

🎯 Requirements
- • 5+ years of proven success in B2B software sales or account management within a SaaS, Fintech, or technology environment.
- • Proven track record of driving expansion revenue across a portfolio of accounts in a high-velocity environment.
- • Strong consultative selling skills, with the ability to clearly articulate value to founders and business leaders.
- • Experience managing multiple accounts with competing priorities while consistently hitting growth targets.
