- • As a Senior Accountant at Disher, you will step into a pivotal role within a globally recognized leader in service supply chain solutions. This position offers a unique opportunity to contribute significantly to the financial health and operational efficiency of a company dedicated to building enduring service relationships through agile, reliable, and tailored post-sales services. Your expertise will be instrumental in upholding the company's vision to be the market leader in service supply chains for mission-critical hardware, driven by an unwavering focus on service excellence.
- • Your primary responsibility will be the meticulous preparation and insightful analysis of financial statements. This involves ensuring accuracy, completeness, and adherence to all relevant accounting principles and standards. You will be deeply involved in the day-to-day management of the general ledger, maintaining its integrity and ensuring all transactions are recorded accurately and efficiently. This foundational work is critical for providing reliable financial data to stakeholders across the organization.
- • A core component of this role is supporting the critical month-end and year-end close processes. You will play an active part in ensuring these complex periods are executed smoothly, accurately, and on time. This includes performing reconciliations, preparing journal entries, and investigating any discrepancies that may arise, contributing to the timely and accurate financial reporting of the company.
- • Beyond routine closing activities, you will proactively collaborate with various cross-functional teams, including operations, sales, and management. This collaboration is essential for enhancing the overall accuracy of financial reporting and gaining a comprehensive understanding of business operations. By working closely with other departments, you will help bridge the gap between financial data and operational realities, providing valuable insights that inform strategic decision-making.
- • You will be tasked with ensuring strict compliance with all applicable accounting standards, such as GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) or IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards), depending on the company's reporting requirements. This involves staying abreast of changes in accounting regulations and implementing necessary adjustments to maintain compliance.

You will analyze existing workflows, identify inefficiencies, and propose and implement solutions that enhance accuracy, efficiency, and internal controls. This proactive approach to process optimization will directly support the company's overall business performance and scalability.

This requires a thorough understanding of financial records and the ability to clearly articulate accounting treatments and policies.
- • Furthermore, you will assist in the development and maintenance of accounting policies and procedures, ensuring they are up-to-date and effectively communicated throughout the organization. This contributes to a standardized and robust accounting framework.
- • The company fosters a workplace culture built on four key values: Collaborative, Dynamic, Fun, and Focused. As a Senior Accountant, you will embody these values, working effectively within a team, embracing challenges with energy, maintaining a positive outlook, and staying dedicated to achieving objectives. You will be empowered to make a difference, drive innovation in financial processes, and celebrate successes within a supportive, high-energy environment.
- • This role is ideal for a detail-oriented, analytical, and proactive accounting professional who thrives in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment. You will have the opportunity to expand your accounting knowledge, develop your analytical skills, and contribute to the success of a company that values its employees and their contributions.
