📋 Description
- • As a Senior Accountant at Remarcable Inc., you will own our core accounting operations and help build the financial infrastructure that will support our growth.
- • You'll work closely with stakeholders across the company on everything from monthly close to process design, and you'll be a key partner as we prepare for future fundraising, audits, and scaling our finance function.
- • You'll be responsible for owning the monthly and quarterly close process, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and accruals.
- • You'll maintain accurate general ledger records in accordance with GAAP.
- • You'll oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, and expense management.
- • You'll prepare monthly financial statements and supporting schedules.
- • You'll support revenue recognition for SaaS contracts (ASC 606).
- • You'll assist with budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow tracking.
- • You'll build and improve accounting processes, controls, and documentation as we scale.
- • You'll support tax filings and coordinate with external tax/audit partners.
- • You'll help prepare for audits, fundraising due diligence, or acquisition activity.
🎯 Requirements
- • 4+ years of progressive accounting experience
- • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- • CPA or CPA candidate preferred
- • Prior experience in public accounting, preferably audit
