- • Productionise ML models to optimise product KPIs, including algorithmic patient selection to maximise recovery rates for the US-based AI Therapist product.
- • Build and maintain agentic frameworks while ensuring all AI features continuously comply with strict regulatory protocols for mental health care in the US.
- • Identify and model causal factors—such as AI interaction patterns and clinical outcomes—that determine key performance indicators for patient recovery and engagement.
- • Productionise agentic frameworks to automate product development workflows, accelerating iteration cycles and reducing manual overhead.
- • Productionise product demo processes to streamline resource allocation and prevent critical issues during client and clinical demonstrations.
- • Translate AI research into scalable, production-grade software systems that directly improve patient outcomes in mental healthcare.
- • Design and implement scalable machine learning architectures for high-traffic, real-time AI interactions with thousands of weekly users in the US.
- • Apply expert-level proficiency in Python and TypeScript/JavaScript to develop and maintain core AI components and integrations.
- • Utilise reinforcement learning techniques to enhance model decision-making and patient response personalisation.
- • Conduct Eval-driven development to validate model performance, safety, and clinical efficacy against regulatory and user experience standards.
- • Work with SQL and NoSQL databases to manage, query, and analyse user activity data and clinical interaction logs.
- • Deploy and monitor ML systems on major cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) using containerisation technologies such as Docker.
- • Maintain version control workflows using Git for collaborative development, code reviews, and deployment pipelines.
- • Collaborate with clinical, regulatory, and product teams to align AI functionality with healthcare compliance requirements and user needs.
- • Contribute to cross-product initiatives by extending successful AI therapies and frameworks developed for the US launch to other Limbic products.
- • Work from the London (Spitalfields) office at least one day per week to support team collaboration and system integration.
- • Apply technical expertise to solve complex challenges in mental healthcare, with a focus on safety, accessibility, and clinical impact.
🎯 Requirements
- • PhD in computational science or an AI-related field plus 2 years of experience in an ML engineering role, OR BSc/MSc plus 4 years of experience in an ML engineering role.
- • Expertise in productising LLM features and a strong background in Eval-driven-development.
- • Expert-level proficiency in Python and TypeScript/JavaScript.
- • Proven experience building an LLM agent harness.
- • Experience utilizing reinforcement learning.
- • Strong architectural skills with experience designing scalable, production-grade systems for machine learning applications.
