- • Own and evolve the Agentic AI Pod roadmap – you will be the single point of accountability for a brand-new engineering squad whose sole mission is to ship production-grade, job-to-be-done agents that let event marketers create campaigns, segment audiences, and optimize revenue using nothing more than natural language and intelligent automation.
- • Pioneer Hive’s end-to-end AI strategy – conduct deep discovery with 1,500+ marquee clients (festivals, venues, promoters) to surface high-value pain points, benchmark against the rapidly shifting LLM landscape, and craft a 12- to 24-month vision that turns bleeding-edge research into defensible product moats.
- • Invent human-centric interaction paradigms – reimagine the Hive platform as an AI-native workspace where marketers collaborate with autonomous agents that draft copy, schedule sends, forecast ticket sales, and surface insights, all while keeping the user in final control and preserving brand voice.
- • Navigate AI uncertainty with conviction – translate fuzzy research papers into crisp product hypotheses, scope 1- to 2-week technical spikes, run usability tests with real campaign data, and decide when to double-down, pivot, or sunset a feature based on evidence, not hype.
- • Translate strategy into an executable roadmap – balance moon-shot capabilities (multi-agent orchestration, chain-of-thought reasoning, RAG over 500M customer profiles) with pragmatic quarterly OKRs that move core business metrics like campaign creation time, revenue per send, and customer retention.
- • Drive cross-functional AI alignment – partner daily with Staff Engineers on architecture, Designers on conversational UX, Data Scientists on model evaluation, and Customer Success on rollout plans so that every agent respects Hive’s real-time event data, privacy rules, and 25+ partner integrations (Ticketmaster, Shopify, etc.).
- • Champion responsible AI practices – embed transparency logs, human-in-the-loop approvals, and bias-mitigation guardrails so event marketers trust the agents with their brand reputation and customer relationships.
- • Evangelize internally and externally – craft technical narratives that turn skeptical stakeholders into champions, present at industry conferences, and publish case studies that position Hive as the undisputed leader in AI-powered live-event marketing.
- • Measure what matters – define north-star metrics (e.g., “agent-assisted campaigns outperform manual campaigns by 30% revenue lift”) and instrument analytics so the team learns faster than the competition.
- • Foster a culture of experimentation – run weekly “demo-days,” maintain a living prompt library, and celebrate fast failures that save months of misaligned effort.
