Full Job Description
đź“‹ Description
- • Act as the go-to mentor and subject-matter expert for the Prime Vendor Analyst (PVA) team, guiding analysts through complex customer implementations, pricing challenges, and day-to-day operational hurdles while modeling best-in-class service behaviors.
- • Design and deliver targeted training sessions—both formal classroom-style workshops and impromptu micro-learning huddles—that elevate analyst performance, streamline business processes, and shorten new-hire ramp-up time by up to 30 %.
- • Own the continuous-improvement roadmap for the Prime Vendor Analyst Program: mine data for trends, surface inefficiencies, and partner with Sales, IS, and Finance to implement scalable solutions that drive measurable gains in forecast accuracy, fill-rate, and customer satisfaction.
- • Serve as the first point of contact for new and existing vendors, cultivating relationships that unlock preferential pricing, expedited lead times, and exclusive product access, directly influencing a multi-million-dollar customer portfolio.
- • Provide end-to-end inventory management, pricing validation, and project support for high-complexity accounts post go-live, ensuring contract compliance, preventing stock-outs, and eliminating invoice discrepancies before they reach the customer.
- • Step in as a “utility player” to backfill open PVA territories during vacations, medical leaves, or sudden departures—maintaining service continuity and protecting revenue streams across smaller account segments.
- • Prepare and present quarterly business reviews that translate raw sales data into executive-ready insights: forecast variances, budget adherence, brand-conversion savings, and resource-utilization metrics that influence strategic decisions at the VP level.
- • Build and maintain dynamic Excel models and PowerPoint decks that automate forecasting, track KPIs, and visualize performance trends—reducing manual reporting time by 40 % and freeing analysts to focus on value-add customer conversations.
- • Collaborate cross-functionally to resolve urgent supply-chain disruptions—surplus inventory, backorders, pricing errors—by orchestrating rapid triage calls with DCs, vendors, and customer stakeholders, often turning dissatisfied buyers into loyal advocates.
- • Champion a culture of belonging and continuous learning by contributing to onboarding playbooks, hosting lunch-and-learns, and sharing real-world case studies that illustrate Medline’s commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion.
- • Travel up to 50 % (in-state and out-of-state) to conduct on-site vendor audits, customer business reviews, and regional training summits, ensuring face-to-face alignment and deepening trust with key partners.
- • Leverage intermediate-to-advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills to transform complex datasets into intuitive dashboards, enabling non-technical stakeholders to make faster, data-driven decisions.
