- • As a Senior Applied Value Engineer in the UKI Oil & Gas team, you will drive business-critical AI and Process Intelligence solutions for strategic customers, turning data insights into measurable ROI by combining Celonis’ Process Intelligence Platform with leading AI technologies from Microsoft, OpenAI, and Databricks.
- • Day to day, you will lead AI discovery and solutioning by understanding customer AI strategies and challenges, prototype innovative solutions in hackathons using cutting-edge AI, build end-to-end Proof-of-Value projects with secure, scalable LLM/agent systems, and ensure successful adoption and value realization through close engagement until agreed thresholds are met.
- • You will join a global leader in Process Intelligence headquartered in Munich and New York, with over 20 offices worldwide, where innovation, ownership, and sustainability are core to the culture, and where you’ll specialize in domains like supply chain or finance to scale expertise across the organization.
- • In this role, you will deepen your expertise in generative AI, agentic systems, and enterprise AI deployment, while developing strong business acumen and executive communication skills, positioning yourself as a trusted advisor who bridges technical innovation and business value at scale.
🎯 Requirements
- • 6+ years of experience leading technical pre-sales, including defining AI roadmaps, building ROI/TCO business cases, and prototyping machine learning and generative AI solutions.
- • Understanding of generative AI techniques such as RAG, few-shot learning, prompt engineering, multi-agent orchestration, multimodal understanding, or fine-tuning for high-impact use cases like intelligent chatbots and automated text processors.
- • Good knowledge of Python and common ML libraries (LangChain, pandas, pydantic, sklearn, PyTorch) as well as data engineering tools and technologies.
- • Strong presentation skills to internal and external stakeholders, including executives, in whiteboarding sessions, formal readouts, and demos.
- • Bachelor’s Degree required; Master’s Degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or related fields preferred.
