📋 Description
- • As a Senior Architect, OpenShift Application Platform at Red Hat, you will lead the design and implementation of complex, production-grade solutions that help customers modernize their software delivery using Red Hat OpenShift and related technologies.
- • Day to day, you will architect Internal Developer Platforms (IDPs), lead technical discovery sessions and workshops, serve as a trusted advisor on Platform Engineering and AI-assisted development, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and develop thought leadership through whitepapers, webinars, and conference speaking.
- • You will join Red Hat Consulting, a team supporting over 90% of Fortune 500 companies, working remotely from the US with a focus on enabling customer success through open-source innovation and enterprise-grade application modernization.
- • In this role, you will deepen your expertise in enterprise architecture, AI-driven development, and platform engineering while shaping best practices for modern software delivery and influencing Red Hat’s product and service direction.
🎯 Requirements
- • 10+ years of experience in a senior technology role such as enterprise architecture, consulting, or sales engineering, with a focus on large-scale infrastructure solutions and platform adoption.
- • Extensive hands-on experience building and managing Internal Developer Platforms (IDPs), optimizing developer workflows, and streamlining the path to production.
- • Significant experience with Kubernetes and container platform deployments, preferably with Red Hat OpenShift, in large organizations.
- • Deep understanding of modern CI/CD pipelines, GitOps methodologies (e.g., ArgoCD, Tekton), and microservices architectures.
- • Excellent communication, presentation, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to understand customer challenges and build long-lasting relationships.
- • Willingness to travel to customer locations regularly.
