- • The Senior Associate, Innovation & New Bets - Strategy & Operations role at Covey Technologies, Inc. (operating under DoorDash) is pivotal in bringing SaaS products to market for merchant partners, focusing on building deep customer relationships and surfacing brand value in ways that drive adoption and revenue growth.
- • Day to day, the individual will iterate sales playbooks and product positioning, run competitive positioning analyses, sell directly to merchant decision-makers through consultative sales, design and execute merchant onboarding experiences, shape product development by feeding qualitative and quantitative feedback into roadmaps, and collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, Analytics, and Sales teams.
- • The team operates within DoorDash Drive, the company’s hypergrowth fulfillment platform serving restaurants, grocers, and retailers globally, enabling ecommerce fulfillment for first-party experiences and supporting enterprise restaurant brands, regional chains, and independent operators.
- • In this role, the individual will develop end-to-end product launch expertise, strengthen consultative sales and customer discovery skills, gain fluency in AI-powered workflow automation (e.g., Claude Code), and learn to navigate ambiguity while driving impact across multiple product lifecycles and customer segments.
🎯 Requirements
- • Experience in consultative selling, whether formal title or not
- • Demonstrated product curiosity — understanding how things work beyond positioning
- • Ability to build and test pricing or go-to-market hypotheses, not just present them
- • Fluency with AI tools like Claude Code or Cursor as part of daily workflow
- • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including presenting persuasively to senior stakeholders
- • Comfort operating across both enterprise and SMB merchant segments with differing needs and sales motions

- • Base salary range of $87,000 to $128,000 USD, localized by work location
