  • • The Senior Associate, People Operations role is critical to ensuring accurate, compliant, and seamless payroll and HR operations across Malaysia and Singapore, directly supporting employee trust, legal adherence, and organizational efficiency in a fast-growing fintech leader serving 9.8M monthly users across five markets.
  • • This fully remote, Malaysia-based position plays a pivotal role in maintaining the integrity of HR systems, enabling smooth employee lifecycle experiences, and contributing to MoneyHero Group’s mission of empowering people to make better financial decisions through reliable, people-first operations.
  • • Day-to-day responsibilities include managing end-to-end payroll processing for Malaysia and Singapore in collaboration with Multiplier, ensuring timely and accurate disbursement of base salary, variable pay, statutory deductions (EPF, SOCSO, EIS, PCB in MY; CPF, IRAS, MOM in SG), and off-cycle payments while maintaining strict confidentiality and compliance.
  • • Administer employee benefits including insurance, allowances, and statutory contributions, liaising with brokers and third-party administrators to resolve claims, track utilization, and support periodic reviews for competitiveness and compliance.
  • • Oversee work pass applications and renewals for Singapore (EP, S Pass, Dependant Passes), coordinating with MOM and internal teams to ensure legal employment status for international hires.
  • • Prepare and maintain accurate employee records in Workday, including offers, contracts, and lifecycle documentation, ensuring data integrity across HRIS and payroll systems through regular audits and synchronization with external platforms.
  • • Coordinate end-to-end onboarding and offboarding processes, managing IT access, equipment allocation, workspace setup, and orientation logistics to deliver a seamless employee experience from day one to exit.
  • • Support performance review cycles by consolidating compensation data, updating systems, and partnering with HRBPs and managers to enable fair, timely compensation planning and movement tracking.
  • • Manage ad-hoc office administration in Malaysia, including pantry, stationery, courier services, vendor coordination, and liaison with building management for facilities, security, and maintenance.
  • • Assist employees with payroll-related queries, benefits enrollment, claims, and tax clearance for resigning staff, providing professional, empathetic, and timely support to enhance employee experience.
  • • Drive process improvements by reducing manual tracking, promoting automation in Workday and Excel, identifying system gaps, and supporting HR reporting, audits, and compliance checks with accurate, accessible documentation.
  • • Uphold strict data protection and confidentiality protocols when handling sensitive employee information, ensuring alignment with PDPA, GDPR-adjacent standards, and internal policies.
  • • Contribute to regional HR initiatives by collaborating with teams across Singapore, Hong Kong, Philippines, and Taiwan, fostering cross-border alignment and knowledge sharing.

🎯 Requirements

  • • 3–5 years of experience in HR operations or payroll, preferably in a regional or cross-border role covering Malaysia and Singapore
  • • Solid knowledge of Malaysian (EPF, SOCSO, EIS, PCB) and Singaporean (CPF, IRAS, MOM) payroll regulations and statutory filing requirements
  • • Hands-on experience with HRIS systems, with Workday preferred, and proficiency in Excel including formulas, pivot tables, and VLOOKUP for reconciliation and reporting
  • • Proven ability to manage end-to-end payroll cycles, benefits administration, work pass processing, and employee lifecycle documentation with high accuracy and confidentiality
  • • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with comfort collaborating across teams, time zones, and cultures in a remote-first environment
  • • Proactive, service-oriented mindset with strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and a commitment to continuous process improvement
